How fun to find all those books you love! By letting go of some of the dolls that weren't exactly what you wanted, I think you'll find exactly the ones you do want. By the way, your skin is perfection!

I had a similar circumstance when I found an American girl doll at a thrift store for $10 and I got all excited to find it but ultimately passed because I felt someone else would appreciate her more

At first, I was saying "if the price is right, don't hesitate" but when you mentioned that you are still a student and you are in a budget, I understood. Of course it might be different once you are already working fulltime. I also have a lot of books That I sadly haven't read yet.

That's so cool finding a lot of the original 6 books with their 1st covers. Then Joesafina Story collocton. I've always wanted those I been reading the original books on internet archive this year and been enjoying the original 6 books so much. Then theirs other really old Pleasant company books too that I've never read until this year

Nice find of all those books! I'm always checking for AG books when I go thrift shopping. In fact, I just finished reading that Rebecca and The Crystal Ball mystery book - it was a good one. Sounds like a smart idea to pass on the dolls if they were all in need of serious TLC.

Id love to hear the history and the story behind Rebecca. I only know some of the back story's to some of the historical dolls. It'll be fun to learn about.

Nice book haul! I suspect I would really like the AG books; I loved Dear Canada, Dear America, and The Royal Diaries when I was a kid. I understand not being able to get all the dolls you want when you first see them. I'm just finishing a PhD, so budgeting is a real issue for me too. I saw two different Cinderella dolls at good deals, but didn't think I should buy either, especially since my Tiana hasn't even shown up yet.

Go with your gut and don't second guess yourself. I am glad you found books you enjoy.

Wow! You got alot of great books! I don't own many ag books yet, but I'm always looking. Luckily one of the libraries near me has several so I can at least read them. As for my thoughts on the person reselling what they bought, well I don't really see a problem with it, as long as they're not jacking the prices way up. I mean alot of people will buy bundles of things and sell off the parts they don't want, and use that money to buy more things they do. So if that's what they're doing I don't see a problem with it. I myself bought a bundle awhile back for some specific items and plan to sell the rest off. But if all they did was buy the stuff just to sell all of it back off for higher prices, then that becomes a problem, because someone who actually wanted something wasn't able to get it and may not be able to afford the higher prices. So yeah that's my thoughts on it. Also I'd love a video to see your entire ag book collection. Of course I'm also unapologetically a bookworm so I love seeing people's collections of books that I'm interested in 😂

I recently got MaryEllen Grace as well as the Og number 61 with the bright green eyes and red hair that i named Amelia all for $150 i was stunned all in really good condition just had to condition their hair So now i have Isabelle Grace MaryEllen and Number 61 i am so excited because number 61 is a rarer doll
