What incredible landscapes and places to see. The train once again demonstrates its great versatility in transporting people and serving as a tourist route, without having to pay tolls and having to worry about the movement of the roads.

This was one of the best cab rides that I have done, the scenery was stunning and the way the track twisted and turned made ones head spin. I can no longer physically visit any of these countries and these wonderful videos bring back memories and also open up new places to me. Thank you for your time and effort.

Als ich das Wort "Straßenbahn" las, dachte ich nur, der Film würde sich nur um die Art von Fahrzeugen handeln, die durch die Städte hin und her rollen, aber dies war eher ein kleiner Regionalzug auf dem Land. Und das machte es interessanter zu sehen. Ich möchte mich auch für die schöne Landschaft bedanken. Das Land hat den Touristen so viel zu bieten. Ich liebe Österreich einfach und versuche jedes Jahr dorthin zu reisen. Es wird immer schwieriger, da die schwedischen Busreiseveranstalter das Land zu hassen scheinen und sich weigern, neue Standorte zu finden (fragen Sie mich nicht warum). Die Fahrten sind auch sehr kurz und das macht mich noch wütender, weil es zwei Tage dauert, um mit dem Bus dorthin zu gelangen.

@Michael Gallrauner Ich habe keine Probleme mit dem Bus zu reisen, da es immer eine geplante Übernachtung auf halber Strecke gibt. Und alle 2-3 Stunden muss der Busfahrer aufgrund der Regeln anhalten. Für 2021 hatte ich eine Reise mit dem Zug geplant (Heimat-Kopenhagen-Hamburg-Wien-Gosau), aber dann schlug die Corona hart zu und ich kann für die nächsten Jahre keine Möglichkeit sehen, zu reisen.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Having visited these very streets several years ago, and traveling the rails between Salzburg and Zurich, this video brought back fond memories. This Strassenbahn/STB presents a neat combination of suburban mountain scenery and downtown city streets, and everything in between.

We had lovely holiday in the Stubai valley many years ago, regretfully we never managed a trip on the Stubaitalbahn but did have a ride up to Igls behind an old motor car with trailers; excellent video showing what we missed.

Sehr cool! Diese Linie sieht sehr interessant und mysteriös aus. Ich habe noch nie eine Straßenbahnstrecke derart gesehen! Mein Vater ist in München Straßenbahnfahrer und da gibt es solche Strecke nicht.

An sich eine sehr schöne Strecke. Von Miesbach aus durchaus mal ein Tagesausflug wert, wenn man mal in Innsbruck etwas alternatives erleben will. Vorbei an grünen Landschaften und sogar Serpentinen waren drin. Das einzige was mich gewundert hat, das erst nach 35 min. der erste Gegenzug kam. Hatte die Straßenbahn Verspätung oder gibt es nach Fulpmes tatsächlich nur einen 2 Stunden-Takt.

Oniemiałem - leci sobie tramwaj przez wioski wesoło. Ruch niewielki - weekend? Linia sprawia wrażenie nowej, jest perfekcyjnie ułożona. Zastanawiam się, czemu na odcinku górskim zdecydowali się na lewostronny ruch na mijankach. Warto zauważyć, że w mieście tramwaj używa dzwonka, zaś na linii podmiejskiej trąbki.

Ruch niewielki bo jest po za godzinami szczytu. A lewostronny ruch na mijankach jest chyba ze względu na oszczędność miejsca, bo jest jeden peron. Cała linia po za miastem jest na stoku, czasami dość stromym i liczy się każdy metr szerokości.

O ile dobrze pamiętam mój nocny seans, to nie do końca się zgodzę - tramwaj jest dwustronny i dwukierunkowy, peron raz po lewej raz po prawej, więc obojętnie, którą stroną pojedzie.

Marsjanin TK Linia ma ok. 100 lat i została włączona do sieci tramwajowej (tutaj: 43:50) na pocz. lat 80-tych. Co do trąbki, to prawdopodobnie jest jak na niektórych liniach w Niemczech: tramwaj poza miastem jedzie jako pociąg

Ich wurde von Ihnen, welche in Innsbruck seit langer Zeit wohnen, und welche viel auf diese Strassenbahnlinie kennen, kennenlernen, wann diese Neue Strassenbahnlinie von einer antikeren Eisenbahh , welche von der Stadt bis die kleine Burge fuhr, derivierte worden sei. Entschuldigen Sie fur meine Deutsche Sprache, aber Ich schreibe zu wenig auf Deutch, als Sie auch noch gelernet haben

Mal eine Frage von einem "Pufferknutscher :) " an die TF unter uns. Bei 5:14 min. steht links am Pfosten ein Signal, Weisse Balken "U" formig angeornet auf blauen Grund,. Wenn ich das richtig Interpretiere heisst das Schild "Hauptschalter einschalten erlaubt". Nur habe ich vorher kein Schild gesehen wo der Hauptschalter ausgestellt werden muss. Übleichweise kenne ich das nur bei einem Wechsel des Fahrstromes bei z.b Grenzübertritt Deutschland-Dänemark oder Österreich-Italien. Kann mir jemand sagen warum ?

Probably. At about 43:40 we leave the original railway (with the old station to our right) and connect to the Strassenbahn network (with the depot to our left). According to a 1996 plan I found on de.wikipedia, the depot used to serve the Oberleitungsomnibus system as well. They entered at the same point from the street, ran diagonally across the circle of track we pass and shared the large shed to our left. The Obus routes in the city no longer run. Converted to tram or regular bus, I don't know.
