I’m only 11 and I’m very insecure about my lazy eye. I want to get surgery but it’s very expensive so I don’t really know if it will ever be fixed. It kills me inside when I’m staring at somebody and they ask me what I’m staring at. Like when I’m looking at a person they ask me “are you looking at me” I just say no because I get so embarrassed. The crazy thing is even little kids notice it. So embarrassing. 💔

@@nyrae_yt8744 Yeah same, my esatropia was always embarrassing to me because I didn’t want my friends to notice plus I would see double things but then I got this surgery a week ago and it was amazing but it will hurt for a few days after the surgery and you may not be able to open them for 2 to 3 days but in the end it’s all so worth it, I can see perfect and there is no eye turn anymore. So if you ever get the opportunity to get this surgery I defiantly would say to get it and if you ever get an opportunity!

I’m so scared. I’m having surgery next Wednesday and I am so freaking scared. I’m only 11 so I don’t know how to feel about it. @@DallanaMejia-Ys7 Don't let the video scare you. In fact dont even think too much into the procedure itself. Leave it up to the surgeon! Im assuming they will put you to sleep throughout the procedure which will make it painless. Just trust in the procedure and i wish you a good outcome! Better vision awaits you!

I'll be 30 in November and all my life I thought my condition was hereditary because my mom told me so. so I learned to live with it. Then I had my daughter and started noticing it on her. At first it wasnt as much, until it was noticable. I come to find out that this problem can be fixed by my daughters ophthalmologist. She's 7 and is schedule for her surgery on Monday. Kind of wanna do it myself but I have a really high self esteem regardless of my condition. I'm happy the way I am. But my daughter is a child and super sensitive. She tells me that all the kids in school ask her why her eye just wonders off at times. I wont let her go through what I went through.

People tell me the same thing that iit is not that noticeable.. and it's so frustrating when they tell me that. I noticed that my eye wanders more when I get tired later on in the day. I feel your pain God bless you

@@sabamaryum1200 So I had my operation on the 5th of march. The op went really well and the surgeon was pleased with results. One thing I was not prepared for was how confused I felt for a couple of days after the op. The eye was very red and felt scratchy for a good three weeks. The eye's were lined up perfectly for the first two weeks but has drifted slightly out again but it's much better than it was before and I am happy with it. My consultants name was martin leyland I would recommend him to anyone.

You need to get a second opinion. I had a similar situation and just had surgery a few days ago,.they are straight and working together again. I'm in some pain still because I had to have 3 muscles done but it's not to bad. The worst part is my eyes look so red I look possessed lol. That will do away in a week or 2 💜💜

I think you're under anesthesia for the first half.

U will be fine..not painful at all even after surgery it just is red and a little sore and irritating but that's about it. the hardest part is waiting to see wat the outcome is gn be..i just had surgery Monday
