On his first try over two-and-a-half miles, the gutsy Stradivarius claimed victory in a thrilling renewal of the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.
Trained by John Gosden and ridden by Frankie Dettori, the four-year-old was a 7-4 joint-favourite as he claimed his second Royal Ascot success, having won the Queen’s Vase 12 months earlier.

Worked on this royal ascot not my favourite course but I was working the cam at swinley bottom. Good to watch it back cams grass valley ldk4000 various lenses mine fujinon 42x.

A great race in that the 3 best stayers in the sport in Stradivarius, Vazirabad, & Order of St George, and you didn't really even have to say arguably, were all finally lined up in the same starting gate together. The downer of this race to me was that this would turn out to be the final race of Order of St George & Vazirbad's career, and in 4 or 5 seasons of racing for both, this would sadly be the only time the two would ever meet. It would've great since Varzirabad came across the channel for Ascot Gold Cup if Order of St George would've gone to France and contested the Prix Du Cadran and again in the the British Champions Long Distance Cup before perhaps having one final showdown at Meydan in the Dubai Gold Cup. And between the UK & France, there were a whole host of other top group level staying races other than the afore mentioned the two could've squared off in.

Winner of a video, I have been researching "ascot race course" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Nenlizaab Horse Ascendancy - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.

Many thanks, been searching for "royal ascot racecourse shop" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Nenlizaab Horse Ascendancy - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my neighbour got great results with it.

Have a feeling we will b seeing Stradivarius winning the next 3 to 4 running of the gold cup,,Still only a 4 year old and to dismiss proven stayers at his leisure the way he Did,he is the daddy of the staying division.

@Peter Warnock, Couldn't agree more, because for the past 3 seasons, Order of St George & Vazirabad have effectively between them pretty much dominated the stayers division, and if you throw out that one poor performance over in Dubai, Torcedor has continued to rise pretty swiftly through the stayers ranks too. But I don't think there's any question that at the moment, Stradivarius stands alone at the top, and after this race I think It's fair to say that Vazirabad has eclipsed Order of St George in the rankings also.

Gary Jessop I think Stradivarius would beat him on any ground,,he has age and the will to win on his side,,havnt seen it in 2 many horses since giants causeway,,it's near impossible to beat

Took me a while to warm to this top horse.. I knew he was a beast by this race but still back Vazirabad as he was always going to be there clear challenger and was the value. He ran well but Strad is in a league of its own and as already mentioned, has age on his side and it will take something not seen in UK racing yet, or a huge improver to really give this one problems. I do however believe this horse is best on good going (as most horses should be).

karma...This horse ended the career of a champion in the 2015 Melb. Cup (Gust of wind ) the same way !! She was the only horse to ever beat Winx fair and square ( Australian Oaks ).. and she would have won the Melb. Cup if not for Max D.

Man tell me Aiden O'Brien's (Michael Tabors) Silks aren't the most beautiful in all of raising? So Elegant even for a colorful set, just 2 beautifully shades of orange and blue stripes with the big Orange Circle on the chest.. You can't miss them in any race, and what makes it better, is they're almost ALWAYS on one of the best horses in the race, if not the world!

I know most owners are in the sport to make money but I really wish Torcedor's owners hadn't sold him. I'm sure the offer they got was very good but was it really that much more than they would've made in prize money if he'd continued his racing career in Ireland and The UK? For those who don't know, Torcedor ran three times in Germany after being sold but finished 7/7, 5/9 and 7/8 and was then fatally injured on the gallops before he could make his debut for his new trainer in Australia. It's all so very, very sad! Does it ever end in huge success when good horses from Ireland and The UK get sold abroad? I've lost count of the amount of times I've tried to find out why a horse I had down as promising hasn't run for a long time, only to see it had been sold abroad months earlier and is now finishing nearer to last than first in every race!

Thanks for the video content! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you tried - Riddleagan Profit Key Remedy (probably on Google)? It is a great one of a kind product for learning how to bet on horses without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.

In my opinion Vazirabad would have won the race had his jockey been more aggressive. The moment Vazirabad went a neck ahead rider stopped use of the whip and used hands and heels only. THAT COST VAZIRABAD THE RACE. seen the race several times. Check it out. \

Alain de Royer Dupre explained that Vazirabad has been slightly touched two times by the winner. It is a horse that protects itself quickly and doesn't like to have to fight too long...

This is one of the longest races in the world man. It's 4000m! .You won't see a "rocket start" ... Even the strongest "stayers" would have a hard time in races like this one.
