I have both in the SS and really like the straight handle. Great for people who have arthritis. The DX folding is every bit as good as my straights.

What is the difference (apart from the price) between these 2 non folding straight razors?: -Feather Artist Club DX Professional -Feather Artist Club SS Japanese style

They have different heads. The SS head has a small lip at the edge that helps to press down the skin and raise the hair follicle to get a closer shave. The DX head has a flat edge. It is also much heavier in weight. Many like the weight of the DX because it allows the tool to do the work.

yes feather razors you think they would tell you how to load the blades the folding 1 is much better control
