This episode we learned that even when he's zombified, Soos is _still_ absolutely lovable. You probably saw it during editing, but when Grunkle Stan seems to turn up out of nowhere, you can see the vending machine right behind him, flickering and then going dark, hinting that he _just_ stepped out of there, while everybody else was (understandably) distracted by the Zombie grabbing Dipper.

One really neat detail I love about this episode is often overlooked during first watch. Remember the guy who couldn't decide if he should by a puma shirt or a panther shirt at the beginning of "Dipper vs Manliness"? The "git 'em" guy? He shows up in this episode wearing a half puma half panther shirt sown together. So, in the end, he bought both. On a different note, looks like you got that musical you wanted :D

because he's now seen the episode: northwest mansion mystery episode said that lumberjack ghost died during the mudslides, so how many more of the lumberjacks in that crowd were killed off from that? also its gravity falls, weird dangerous stuff happens all the time there, stands to reason the unprepared just get killed.

[Spoilers for Season 2] First of all Stan has been to jail at least three times so your right about that. Second of all I didn't think about it before but Powers and Trigger only just discovered how weird Gravity Falls is after years working for a government agency, meanwhile Ford found the town at 20/21. He only just graduated college when he started studying the area. They really aren't good at there jobs. (Although with the way they reacted to the journal you gotta wonder what Ford's plan was gonna be if he ever decided to publish his research. No one would believe him, even with pictures. He would have to bring them to Gravity Falls and show them everything in person. I guess it's good that he decided to just continue researching for fun rather then trying to prove it to anyone)
