I personally wish there were more black women vocalists in a similar vein of this kind of metal, so we could hear a more variety of what they can do with their voices in this genre. Of course, I digress. Great video, song kicks ass, glad I gave this a view.

Just discovered this band yesterday from a co-worker. Loving it! They have a similar sound to Butcher Babies, another band I love. Big ups to my fellow black metalheads!

I caught this band by chance on MTV2 during the Headbanger's Ball hour and I fell in love instantly :) I said to myself "I'm gonna meet this gorgeous woman" and sure enough, I did, when they played the B.B. King Blues Club in NYC. I have the find the photos as back then I had a taken them with a reg camera and not my phone.

I'm not exactly sure what the video's message is, but stuff about the tyranny of the system, invasion of privacy and kids being raised as zombies is all in there somewhere. The two girls (the little kid and the teen) are obviously younger versions of Alexis, the storyteller. Representing kids getting bombarded with propaganda from their birth up.

De clean vocals is the illest. Gives me chills! WHAT ARE WE FIGHTING FOR

Saw these live with lacuna coil in Birmingham UK. I'd never heard of them before and they opened with tear down the sky. I felt like the song literally punched me in the face. Got to meet Alexis and the band afterwards, they put my pic on their Facebook lol. Been hooked on them ever since. Can't wait to see them again.

Alexis is definitely original there is no one like her. Here voice is a metal masterpiece. And SLS is my favorite band and this video and this song just further proves that they OWN period. SLS is paving their own path.
