In your very first video of depreciation, you mentioned that the choice of using a certain method depends on the nature of asset or how it is used such as a car being used only for travelling a specific distance back and forth. If both straight line and reducing balance methods have to have the same scrap value, what is the need of having all the different methods? I mean, we could just use either method for the car travelling a specific distance.
