Thank you for sharing this. I live in So Cal, but when I have traveled to different cities, I was caught off guard in totally different climates. I was prepared for my hair to react to rain, extreme heat from the sun, but really caught me off guard, was extreme "humidity." My hair was natural and I had a lot of conditioner on it, but I never thought that my natural hair would SHRIVEL UP in humidity WHILE LAYERED WITH CONDITIONER! It seems that what works for your natural hair in one climate can be totally different in another. The Pacific Southwest is unique to any other region in the U.S., we rarely have humidity. Nearly every other state in the U.S., had humidity, rain and or snow. Even Arizona has hot and humid AND/OR hot and dry weather. I found my natural hair was shrivelled up when I traveled to Wash D.C., and New York City, I really didn't know what to do, my "curl pattern," nearly turned into a blur, some stringy curls, some shrivelled. Lastly, I have not heard you speak to caring for your hair DURING and AFTER exercising, which CAN present A CHALLENGE for anyone who does not have naturally STRAIGHT hair? Any suggestions; (1) natural hair suggestions, in foul and HUMID weather? (2) caring for natural hair DURING and AFTER working out?

Yes I enjoy learning about perfection of straightening hair. That is me too lol. I too wear my straighten hair for 30 days. I use hair grease on my hair now and apply that to my edges which also layed my edges when wrap. I also made a Shea butter whip I may try when I braid my hair at night

I love this video your hair is pretty and healthy. In my country my straight hair really doesnt last a long time unless its done in a salon. But for once or twice a year its fine by me . I love curly hair. Pura Vida 😊

i needed to hear this lol... I have been thinking that I just want a way to have it "straight-ish" without all the damage. I was going to restraighten it but this discouraged me. I think I need more practice with tension straightening. I love the way it looks when I see on youtube but I haven't been able to manage it.

I'm new at straightening my hair. So I didn't quite know what I was doing so I have some heat damage at the part right above my ears. The rest is fine and healthy. The reason that they are damaged is probably because I was re-straightening those pieces. Because they would frizz up. And like u said in the video that is very damaging. Do you have any tips on how to 'tame' or make thouse pieces better? Or how I should straighten those pieces in the future? Love ur videos 💕

Hi, i fell in love with your channel after watching your video about what to do to your hair to keep it straight such as pin curl or high bun, my question is after a couple of days my hair feels puffy in the middle because I sweat a lot at night, how do you avoid your hair from getting puffy. I know you stated you don't re-flat-iron it because of heat damage but I need some hair advice. thanks

I love your long beautiful hair. My daughter loves her natural hair and when I straighten it her hair comes to the middle of her back. I was wondering how often do you get your ends trimmed? I currently try to get her ends clipped about every three months but sometimes I go over that and I feel like then she has get more trimmed off than necessary but I could be wrong since sometimes we go over the three months.

Hi Ebony! i love your hair. It's absolutely beautiful but i was wondering how you maintain your straight hair for so long without it getting too oily at the roots. I can only keep my hair straight for about a week before i have to wash it cuz my roots are sticking to my head. :'( Got any tips??
