Strange new buses (Enviro400 City EV high spec)

In this video you can see the Alexander Dennis Enviro400 City EV. This is high spec version with upgraded wooden flooring, high back seats and sun roof. This is the electric version of the bus. Enjoy.

This is a Westbourne Park Transferred bus, 295 are allocated to these running from Clapham junction and Ladbroke Grove, these are mainly seen in westbourne park garage

May I ask why they’re starting to get rid of the middle seats of the back row for? Is that for safety reasons or?

Blocking people from sleeping/putting their feet up. That's why there aren't seats facing each other as well. To keep feet and sleeping people from the seats.

Do they? or were the buses in London so below par for many years… London deserves to have world class buses as it’s the most iconic transport system in the world

You can recognize them by the destination board signs. They are more different on these upgraded versions.

It's a repair. Seat was damaged by either (spillage, fire, cut), so this is how they repaired it, as these seats cannot be repaired as the old seats on the buses.

These are High Spec version. Very unlikely for them to be mass deployed.
