I love this channel for showing the reality of panning. You don't only show pans with a bunch of gold like a lot of other channels. You show the success and struggles and that makes me feel like less of a failure at panning. 🤣 I have only been doing it for a few weeks. I learned fast it can be rough to find the gold.

I'm going to landaff soon as I can looks like cool town. Are you boy's going to be on an episode north woods law? Like the show my self although I'm an outlaw. I see Wes rock's a Remington hat my family are big on Remington my late father in law Larry Benoit had his own 7600 model they made 170 of them from 1999-2000. To bad what happened to Remington weird things going bump in the night. Fun video wish I could've seen the interaction with the game warding. Till next week peace.

One of David Pallides missing 411 story describes something like what you heard when a hunter went missing... It was described by the missing mans hunting partners. Sounds like just what you heard. I think the story was part of his movie called the hunted.. It happened somewhere in upper state NY.. Its the first story in the movie.

@@hipbeeexplorer I just watched the movie again. At around 19:11 of the movie the sound is described as a giant trap door slamming shut. Couldn't really describe it but definately had a metallic sound to it.

I've worked Mill Brook many times, the gold is kind of sparse and tends to be medium to micro in size. The Town of Landaff was once part of the State of Vermont if you read the history. Heavy Pans!

I would go back with a metal detector and grid the area! There has been many meteors coming through as we pass through the tail again. If it is a meteor it would be of great value. Worth doing for sure. I doubt it was that tree. Great video. Oh did u put the winter tent away?
