The suspense in this video not knowing what this young man was going to encounter, is what makes it so very interesting. Love it. This young man is very brave to be in the forest at night surrounded by darkness listening to different sounds of animals. I couldn’t do it, I not brave at all. Besides, I was born in a city, grew up in a city, and live in a city and I have never been in the woods. I am more of an ocean person. But I love this video, I really do. Thank you for sharing it, and please, be safe! 👍👍👏👏🙌🙌♥️♥️♥️

Most of my life we lived out in the boondocks and I loved it. I never could get used to the city. I will say, that for the most part most of the sounds we heard in the day and night were made by animals,coyote ,wild pigs, owls, even lizards and snakes,but every now and then we'd here something even my grandads didn't know what the hell could make such a sound. That's when ,at least for me, things got real dark real fast. I love and fear nature at the same time,it's a weird feeling. Great video man takes me back when I was a kid.
@macwinter71018 ай бұрын
I love and fear nature too. I mostly love it, but when I hear weird sounds, or sometimes if I'm alone at night in a particularly remote spot, I start to feel more fear. While I would be terrified to encounter the creatures making some of these unknown sounds, I kind of hope it happens to me one day. I want to know what's out there.

Imagine being in the woods hearing vicious growling sounds terrifying
@dive2drive31411 ай бұрын
It (sort of) happened to me one night camping with my family. This deep growling noise began as I was trying to fall asleep, and right next to my head, outside my tent. I was completely frozen and the sound went on for so long, I would start to relax and move in my sleeping bag, and the growling would get more aggressive, and then I would be frozen again. It was one of the worst nights of my life, honestly. The next day I told my family and they all laughed at me saying it was the wind. I have never heard wind like that before... I mean, I know the mind can really play tricks on you, but I have heard animals growl before and it was convincing enough for me to barely even want to move, let alone open the tent flap to investigate it.
@dive2drive31411 ай бұрын
Btw, that noise you heard at 8:17 sounded a lot to me like a Barred owl, specifically that last part of the call they make (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bM53aZdnmtiUlIU.html). I am building a house on a lake right now and we can hear two of them call back and forth to each other during the day, Even saw one fly to a tree right next to us with a large rodent in it's talons. They are amazing creatures.

I live in North West Wisconsin and take long bike rides in the National Forest near me. On the night before the Super Moon I was out at an old WCC campsite just enjoying the evening . When I left the area and gone back on the only paved road in the area I stopped to put on a warmer shirt when something started growling and making noises that I've never heard out there in the 17 years I've been exploring that area. The only Vocalizations I've found that sound like what I heard are Wild Hogs and we don't have them in Northern Wisconsin as far as I know.

In the summer, I camp pretty regularly on an old logging road (that I think is still used, somewhat) between Ladysmith and Winter. It’s the same road I’ve seen a black bear and wolf on. I don’t worry much about anything on account of keeping a couple mags topped with 77gr on me and sleeping in my car, but it’s always been my goal to walk that secluded, empty gravel road when I finally buy a good pair of Nods But honestly. Bear, wolf, Bigfoot or the Dog Man be damned. Biggest thing that has me spooked up there are the mosquitos

Just watching this young man walking in that darkness, got me tense; I got so tense just thinking what about if he encounters a person, not a spirit or a ghost, a real human being who wants to harm him not knowing if he was armed or not. That suspense was great, excellent. But again the “what if” came to my mind again. You are very brave walking in the woods at night. Anyone who has never being inside a forest can easily get lost not knowing how to get back where he or she came from and that is extremely scary. Thank you so much for this video, it was really awesome. You did an exceptional job. Kudos to you. By the way, I am glad you were okayed! 👍👍🙌🙌👏👏♥️♥️🙏

Looks amazing. I have been trying to get out camping all summer, but the time I came closest, it poured for two days. That was the closet I came and I drove 8 hours to attempt it. I would love to get into the deep woods, but the thought of what my luck could bring me out there doesn't sit well, nor does the psychological terror I would inevitably inflict upon myself. Lol
@macwinter71018 ай бұрын
Most of the creepy encounters people have are in extremely remote sections of the forest. Chances are, if you're camping at a camp ground, or even following a trail, you won't encounter anything other than maybe deer and squirrels (depending on where you live). Most animals like to avoid humans, and they won't go to areas where people regularly go (along hiking trails, near campsites or near roads and civilization).

You did the right thing by recording different times of day and evening. You can hear the subtle changes in the creatures that left or tucked in for the night and the nocturnal creatures entering your mind lol. Breathing is more rapid now because you can’t see beyond your flashlight beam. So adrenaline levels are elevated. Should have eaten your dinner before you went out. Your stomach growls.
