So, I guess that I am a bit of a dingbat and deleted two songs that I had previously uploaded! This is one of them! I had written before, that I don't normally post the lyrics, but these I feel are important!
This song is for anyone who has ever faced any difficult time in life that they did or do not think that they are strong enough to endure or survive! Trust me, YOU ARE! WE ALL ARE!

This is beautiful. You can feel the emotions in the song. I lost my daughter, one of the hardest times in my life this song takes me there but gives peace with it. Something much needed. Your incredible.

My eyes are wet with sadness with you sharing the seemingly unmanageable emotion of loss but, at the same time wet from my heart being touched by the words you have shared. I could only have hoped to be able to someday affect anyone in such a way that brought them peace... so, something that may seem so easy for others to do (comment), to me it is such an amazing gift that you have given to me. This song brings up so many emotions for me. It's a beautiful song but i can't help but want to cry when i listen to it. I've just ended a 10 year relationship with my ex girlfriend and it feels just like a death. My heart hurts so much. On top of that it makes me sad and think off all the friends i have lost in the past few years from heroin overdoses. After 20+ years i managed to escape the wrath of heroin with my life for whatever reason, but so many I know have not. This song really hits home for me in so many ways. I'm so happy i stumbled upon your brilliant talent and amazing voice. You are a shining star!! Cheers.

Treasure Hiding9 ❤️All of my music has a piece of my heart within it. I have always written, sang and played with the intent to hopefully help others heal in someway as well. Death of any relationship is hard to process... this song helped me with my father's passing. I too have lost many friends, but none have hit me as hard as losing my best friend, my Dad. I know I've heard this song before, but, damn...this is great. I've had two good friends of mine pass away, and another one attempt suicide (and survive), and I thought I wasn't going to get through it. But, you know what, I'm still standing :)

That is entirely what the emotions behind this song derived from. The loss of my life long best friend, who just happened to also be my Dad... it has been a hard road to travel, but I am still standing! Exactly!
