So just so you know, the point of the guitar solo is that the bats are attracted to sound. They protect the bad guy, so the group needed something big and loud to draw them away and distract them. What better than an absolutely metal guitar solo?

so explanation for this scene, it goes through several perspectives each with their own part of the story. The main one is Eddie Munson (AKA epic Guitar dude) he is playing the guitar to attract the "Bats" to him so the others can sneak into the house to fight the main bad guy of the series, Vecna. Vecna is a Crazy psychic dude who is trying to open a large rift into the normal world so that the upside down (the place they were in with the red lightning) can infect it. he is using his abilities on Max, the red head who is seen running into the boarded up door ways and eventually the crazy guy who tries to break down the door. she willingly fell under his spell while in the same house in the normal world so that he can be distracted while the others try to kill him. the little girl in the playground was there to keep an eye on the house from the outside and be at a contact point for those in the upside down. she is chased down by those who think that Eddie was the one who killed the others that Vecna actually killed, however since he has been doing it psychically from the upside down, there was no evidence pointing it towards him. they chased her since they know she is on Eddies side and think that she can take him to Eddie. not the best explanation for what is happening, but hopefully it clears up what was happening.

You noticed in the video but Joseph Quinn is in his spare time a guitarist, so for most of this song it’s actually him playing barring the parts he simply couldn’t do, that was handled by the son of one of the band members.

I dont know how much you know about Stranger things, so i’ll be as vague as i can. Basically, they are ‘raiding a castle’ and they need a few distractions. There are several people working together at the same time, with these two groups being the bait and decoys attracting all the attention. Could you check out PrinceWhateverer’s “Ghost in the Sun”? This song is a more cathartic interpretation of the Celestia/Luna backstory and i absolutely love it

I'd love to see you react to some more Sabaton. They're personally, my favorite band, and nearly every song is a true story about a historical event. Soldier of Heaven is my personal favorite and I can not listen to it without singing along and tearing up.

ooh if youre branching into metal then i cant pass up the opportunity to rec the nova twins! theyre a bit newer to the scene and do a lot of genre bending but their sound is cool as hell and their new album supernova is incredible

To be perfectly honest this has mostly become a show of stubbornness for me, to refuse to break until you listen to this song. Day 93: If there is a song that you must listen to, along with the accompanying animation, it has to be We are the Souls by ThePruld. If there is a song that can encompass an entire community it is that song.
