Once again, all the chars have something cool to do. Also, this is the first or second time we see Lucas has a little sister, Erica. The girl knocked it out of the park so much in her scenes this season, they gave her a bigger role for next season. Which is great. You'll love her. -- Eleven is having some serious teen rebellion stuff growing; she rocks. The bit with the squirrel, probably to remind us she can be dangerous, but she's also just trying to live and be her own girl. -- Billy: yeah, not a good guy. More to this. -- Dustin: Just wait; it gets weirder!

In the weekends I will arrive late, SuperRugby takes all my time early and then comes the baby. Finally Barb is a big part of the plot. Each one of the actors in the series is amazing but finally we can see all the range of emotions of Will, also I love how in this season we can see some really healthy and nurturing father figures.

I haven't watched this show since the first season. That girl said the boys were stalking her but no one used that word like that back in 1984.

Ha, I don't know if your kids have ever ended up drawing anything scary, but your comment about not wanting to see them ever draw scary pictures like Will's reminded me of my nephew - one time when he was almost five, I asked him if he could draw me his favorite animal. He looked at me for a minute and then grabbed a black crayon and started making wild circles all over the paper, almost filling it in completely. I asked him "Oh! What animal is that?" And he said, i swear to god, "The Dark of Nowhere." I was speechless for a minute and his 6-year-old brother "helpfully" chimed in to clarify: "Don't worry! The Dark of Nowhere is just like, a man, but he's only like, a shadow." OH GREAT THANK YOU FOR ELABORATING WITH THAT TERRIFYING DETAIL, KIDDO. Before anyone says I made this up, important detail is their mother is a horror movie aficionado.

Did you ever see Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close? It’s about a little boy with Asperger Syndrome who loses his beloved dad on 911. His dad left clues for him as a game to bring him out of his shell, and the kid stumbles onto one last game his father had set up but they’d never gotten to play. So he sets out on a quest to finish the game, going all over Manhattan, like he used to with his dad. Spoilers: The whole time you think he’s alone and where the hell is his mom, only to find out she’s been secretly following him the entire book/movie. When you said you hoped Will’s brother was following him from afar, it made me think of that.

You hit the end of this episode and I had the uncontrollable urge to go, "Mwuahahahahahahahahahaha!" You missed something here. I'm hoping you go back and rewatch that video before you record the next one. Probably not, since you likely record a couple of these at a time (if not the entire series... I don't know). But you missed something. Mwuahahahahahahahahahaha!

Alternate titles: "Some Mean Kids Are Mean" and "Will Has a Bad Time." -- In my 1st viewing, I didn't get it, but now… Max might have chosen the name MadMax because, look at how Billy behaves with the car, chasing the boys. Like he's been watching the Mad Max movies too much. I know the first, Mad Max / Road Warrior was out by 1984. I don't recall for sure when the 2nd movie came out. But Billy acts a lot like one of the psycho gang villains. So Max may be doing a subtle protest there. -- Poor Will has a rough time in this ep, and Eleven just sort of leaves the hole in the wall and goo on the floor without closing it, when she crosses over. (Very interesting that she finds a way to do that. Not sure if it'll play out in season 3.)

It's kind of weird that Nikki's wearing a shirt with potential spoilers on it, but whatever, it _is_ an awesome shirt.
