Learnt that lesson today....took it out and lost signal... then crashed and didn't save any footage.... I just came back in the house 🙃 I'm not doing any more until I have my long range transmitter 🤦🏾♂️

@@ACB-R.C Long range transmitter is always the better option but what kind of works in the meantime is just using a 2.4 signal booster. If you do it right you end up with an easy way to swap antennas or use the booster. It's cool to kind of test your stock limits by first using the stock whip antenna (in a safe place), then when you lose control signal and the car stops responding you can switch over to the signal booster to get control back. You would eventually lose signal again the further you go obviously but it's a nifty way to really get an idea of your real stock control limits on 2.4g.

@Magneticitist I brought.... what I thought was a signal booster turned out to be a long range transmitter which I need to attach a camera to (like a run cam) which is in the post already 🤣 in fact its supposed to arrive today so that will be interesting. But I need to look into this 2.4 signal booster your speaking about. I haven't seen one as yet so thanks for the heads up 🫡

Do you have to provide cooling for the Walksnail vtx? I plan to run mine on the HBX Protector under the roll cage with constant air movement do you think it would be okay?

Bro those people need to cut it out. I was never thinking about speed for an FPV car cause I just wanted to explore and shit.. but when you finally run into someone and get that feeling over whether they are about to try to take/break your shit or be cool.. you start thinking ok yea I need this thing to be able to haul ass. I never knew how small Oscar actually was til I seen you hold it in your hand. That size seems like the best for hiding and evading etc but then you got to be real good at driving cause it don't take much to flip it I guess. I kind of like the idea that one dude got on Tik Tok where he just uses a channel to turn a stun gun on.. It might work at scaring the crap out of a person or an animal and keep them off you.
