Massey University School of Veterinary Science needed to lift and shift animal carcasses, which staff and students had long completed using manual methods: a lift table that had to be pushed by hand.
They needed a solution that allowed them to handle loads of up to 1000kg and be safely operated by one person. The solution was: the Kito one-tonne, dual speed, fully powered electric hoist and trolley. The hoist and trolley could be operated by one person with a remote control. As you can see the hoist and trolley are also able to move around corners on our Erik kila mounted workstations.
Ultimately the system has made the vet school far more efficient, as well as far safer for staff and students alike.
