WaW-TRP HOUSE RULES revised 3-12-2024 OldCrowBalthazor vs GamingWithTheColonel
(Made for a semi-historical timeline)
1) No War Dec of USSR before April 1941 unless USSR mobilization reaches 90%
2) No Allied ships may ever use Kiel Canal until France Falls. Allied land units may land and block.
3) No German attack on Low Countries and France till May 1940
Germany must attack ALL Low Countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) at the same time.
4) No more than 5 UK land units in France till Sept 1940
5) Finnish units may not enter any land hexes south of Riga-Moscow-Perm line. Finnish units can enter anywhere in Norway and Sweden. Finnish SF unit may go anywhere.
6) No Hungarian units may never enter Rumania. if German DC 2nd Vienna Award grants Hungary the Romanian part of TransylvaniaNo Rumanian units in Hungary before Barbarossa if German DC 2nd Vienna Award grants Hungary the Romanian part of Transylvania.
7) No Allied 'Scando Gambit' on Oslo, Norway or Copenhagen, Denmark while those two countries are neutral or until France falls.
8) No Allied blocking of Gibraltar travel hexes (can put ships all around them but not right onto them) If Gibraltar Axis controlled-same as above.
9) Italian transports destined for Abyssinia (Ethiopia) must travel has fast as possible while neutral. No lingering to be used as spotters or other cheesy moves.
10) Vigo and Canary Island Ports leased to Germany may not be bombed unless Spain is an Axis Power at 100% Mobilization.
11) No Bulgarian units in USSR unless Moscow or Baku is Axis controlled. No Bulgarian units in Rumania. No Romanian units in Bulgaria.
12) No Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian Mainline Units in France or Italy. Garrison/Security Units ok.NK
13) No Experience Farming with Naval units.
14) Communist Chinese units can't go into Chinese territory.
15) Japanese Fleet should not attack (or be within 20 hexes) of the US west coast for 6 months after the war starts.
16) Singapore, UK must keep at least 5 combat war ships at Singapore until Japan Declares War.
17) No Allied wardecs of their own neutral colonies (e.g Solomon Islands, New Guinea, Sarawak, etc.
18) No German units in Albania till after Greece surrenders.
We reserve the right to amend, add, or delete any of these house-rules if circumstances and discussion warrant them.

8:00 You could/should have had Malta this turn. If you had ignored the docks and used the GE Med bomber in Western Sicily before the TACs, the entrenchment would have been gone and the TACs would have easily finished the job. Secondly, doing it this way would have had the ports in better shape. Lastly, the docks were already (4) low enough to prevent the GAR from leaving. 9:40 The time to prepare Amphib use in Greece is before you go to war with them so that they are in the water and ready to land on the first turn. 13:00 The GE FTRs in East Africa are down to crap morale/readiness levels and won't really recover due to low supply/no GE HQ. You probably should be getting them out of there. The IT FTR should be next to the IT HQ so it can have a 7 supply (or 6 if not on a road hex). 23:30 Something odd, maybe should be brought up to the developers. On the Col's replay when the unit was destroyed last turn the fort 'visibly' blew up. However, on your turn it is still there. 24:25 As I'm sure you're aware by now in TRP regular ART works better if the entrenchment is removed first. Completely counter-intuitive to its actual offensive use. SMH at 'He who is never wrong'. 24:40 The ENG loss hurts more in time it takes to rebuild as a land unit it is rather inexpensive MPP wise. I'm a little more confused at your throwing the Maritime bomber into Flak just to run your Med bomber & TAC bomber into a rain hex that you aren't planning to attack this turn anyway. That sort of thing costs a lot of MPP over time. 34:40 The Dutch partisans are easy enough. Build a GAR and it can walk to the mine in a couple of turns.
