Children might be affected by events their families have had to deal with over the last two years: a global pandemic, bereavements, a cost-of-living crisis, the climate crisis and international conflicts.
This has led to some children feeling anxious and, in some cases, not happy about going to school especially after school holidays. In this short film Alis Rocca, Educational Consultant, gives useful strategies for teaching staff to keep an eye on children’s emotional wellbeing and to help them address issues so children feel happy and ready to learn.
