Wow, it's been a while since the last upload!
The COVID-19 thing massacred almost all the concerts, including a couple that I should have attended but which, unfortunately, were moved to 2021.
Fortunately I'm not a touring musician nor I'm involved in music business at all, I'm a simple fan and an average "home musician" and this situation did not harm me at all but, of course, I really can understand the situation of our music industry and I'm a little bit worried about it.
At least for professional which is between "big sales" and "underground" (and this is where my tastes dwell).
That's said, this year is Stratovarius "INFINITE" 20th anniversary and I decided to celebrate it (and my favourite band) with an instrumental version of their hit "Hunting High and Low".
For a lot of fans "INFINITE" is one of their best album and "Hunting High and Low" one of their best songs and even if I disagree, the success of this song is undeniable.
Hunting High and Low has guided me through many bad moments and, through this personal cover, I hope everyone can cross 2020 safe and with their heads held high.
A couple of notes:
- This recording is a demo project for a sound engineer I attended during last months, it's not intended to be professional but to be a reference for my future works.
- This is slightly mixed (pan here and there and some EQs).
- It's not mastered nor tested on Hi-Fi but with some "reference headphones" and iMac built-in speaker.
- I do not own, at the moment, a full professional rig but I'm planning to open a studio, in 2021, with shitload of stuff in there.
- The song is in E-flat tuning because I wanted to try something different (and due to this I have not even tried to record the vocal part, but I gladly accept your material in case you want to try the vocal line just send it to: aeonstudios.info@gmail.com).
- I appreciate any advice.

- AudioTechnica ATH-M40X with Sonarworks tool
