Күн бұрынStratovarius - Power Metal Helsinque Finlândia. Formada por 3 amantes de Black Sabbath: Tuomo Lassila, baterista e vocalista; John Vihervã, baixista e Staffan Strahlman, guitarrista... A palavra Stratovarius vem da aglutinação de Stratocaster (modelo de guitarra) com Stradivarius (marca conhecida por seus violinos). Depois de algumas mudanças em sua formação clássica (Timo Tolkki, Timo Kotipelto, Jens Johansson, Jari Kainulanen, Jörg Michael) a banda continua na ativa permanecendo como uma das principais banda da cena Heavy Metal mundial.
