I have been playing *_Sabian_* cymbals every since first hearing about them from a local drummer and local music store employee, in 1983. And while their inception in the market was in 1982, I was still playing the other "Family owned" cymbal manufacturers cymbals, of course, that was *_"Zildjian"_* cymbals!! At first I couldn't understand what would make two brothers upset enough with each other, that it literally divided the *_Zildjian_* family, and kinda down the middle!! NOW, ...... DON'T GET ME WRONG, However, that split was certainly for the better, at least within the *drum and musical instruments* industry as we knew/know it!!! I won't say that I don't love my *_HH/HHX_* line of cymbals, as I CERTAINLY DO, but they were and still are, a shade more expensive than their other "professional" entry line of cymbals, my first *_"A.UTOMATIC A.NVIL"_* cymbals, and of course, I am talking about Sabian's *"AA"*_ and eventual *"AAX"* line of cymbals. Then in 1990 I got my VERY first "Artist Endorsed" line of cymbals, that was *_Carmine Appice's_* Silver and blended metal(s) *_"China Cymbal!"_* Mannnnnnnnnn, do I wish I still owned that "little gem" of a cymbal, or actually, *"REGRET"* is the better choice of word here, because I now *REGRET* parting with that cymbal, albeit my sale of that cymbal, wellllll, it parlayed into the purchase of my *VERY FIRST* truly professional crash cymbal, an 18" *_"H.and H.ammered"_* cymbal, I still have that sweet *"little gem"* of a cymbal on my kit today!!! I have never really been an "experimental" or "unusual" cymbal buyer, ESPECIALLY ONES WITH *HOLES* IN THEM, due to considering that they can be just as, or even more expensive than their "unholed" counterparts!!! THAT all may change soon....., wellllll if that *_"STRATUS"_* *_"ZERO"_* DOESN'T COMPLETELY EMPTY MY OLD-@$$ WALLET...🤤...🤔...😅...🤗...!!!!! *I ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY LOVE* the timbre of that *_STRATUS_* cymbal line, as heard in this demo video, but I do fear that it may be financially out of my current budget..... Oiiiiiiiiyyyyy 😕 Having said that, And DESPITE all my budget concerns, this line of Sabians, these *_"STRATUS"_* cymbals right here, they *ARE A GRANDSLAM HOMERUN!!!!* ANYWAY KEEP ON KEEPING ON BROTHER AND SISTER DRUMMERS!!!!!!!!!!😁 PEACE!!!!!!!!!!🤘🏼

They are pretty versatile, but sound like a B20 cymbal from a cheaper brand like Stagg or something.

Put that 20" crash up against just about any other crash, it'll hold its own just fine. I can dig that. Might be my next crash, either when my 21" legacy ride breaks or just to compliment it as an offhand left crash.

Bring back the Max Splashes! I’m glad you’ve made a line of B20 cymbals people can afford. Your pricing has gone insane over the last few years. I paid $600+USD for the HH Todd Sucherman ride when it came back out. Most people can’t begin to afford that. Y’all have gone crazy with the prices.

The Stratus cymbal packs cost the same as A customs or AAXs packs, don't know what's supposed to be so "affordable" about them.

@@batwithglasses The Stratus line is not priced like a high end cymbal line. Sabian is doing something in the manufacturing process to reduce costs compared to the AAX line which the Stratus line most resembles.

@batwithglasses The less human handling there is, the lower the price can be justified. Also making products in larger #'s can also lower the price of products.
