Жыл бұрынHey there! Since some of the textures were changed from demo 1.4 to 2.0, we now return to Cabins C-55/57. Isador and Ida Straus stayed in these parlor suite. After the Titanic hit the iceberg, Ida refused to leave her husband to get in a lifeboat. Isador refused to leave until the other men were able to. So, they stayed together as the ship went down. What would be cool is if the wreck as it is today could be modeled like this. Would be interesting to walk through the current conditions of the ship

It's fascinating to see. Adjusted for inflation, this suite would cost about 150,000 in today's money. Yet this was surprisingly spartan. Plumbing in those days was a very different concept than it is today. Also, this was one of I believe only 3 private bathtubs on the ship. People used to bathe in public up until quite recently.

interesting video!! I thought first class private baths were nicer. Where are the handrails in the hallways? These allow the passengers to hold themselves up as a result of the movement of the ship.
