Ich staune und bin ebenso fasziniert von dieser kraftvollen Vitalität wie dann wieder nachdenklich-stillem Innehalten. Nicht nur perfekt, sondern voller Lebendigkeit und innerem Nachvollzug wiedergegeben. Über Lucas und Arthur Jussen kann ich immer wieder nur staunen!

My very favorite Strav.The concerto forpiano &ensemble is so short but it shows him using Schonberg's devices authoritatively. This gem is his popular&familiar neoclassical language. Wow and Zany!

To perform this without music is genius!! Timing is everything in this piece ! !! It definitely helps to live in the same house: being able to practice together!!!

Yet another masterful performance. I'm so glad you guys produce videos of this great music. As a pianist myself I love watching you perform as it is so much more satisfying than just listening, especially during the pandemic. Just wonderful!

Incredible work, both of you. Loved it. Typical Stravinsky (way too many notes), I hate crossing over, but of course it did not faze either of you. Great job as always, thanks for brightening my weekend as I was a little down.

A favourite Stravinsky work, along with his Sonata for 2 pianos. Very nice indeed to hear a team that measures up to the work, and to the Kontarsky brothers' exemplary recording on DGramophon. A beautiful version, with much to reveal in several passages. Thanks for posting!

Another adventure trail for me. Lovely performance. I really enjoyed the 'freshness' of this work. I'd say i is a real challenge to play and keep within 'coo-ee' of one another at various moments. Well done Jussens.

I have asked for this before but I’ll do it again,,,ever hopeful,, can you please do Shostakovich Concertino for two pianos op 94. You would have great fun playing this together and everyone would have a wonderful time listening and watching. Please at least consider it. ♥️🇦🇺🌈

@@cjay2 problem is when you watch either on mobile (with high quality headphones) or with chromecast tv with hifi system, can’t block these ff’ing ads 😡 so sick of it. They just force you to pay €10/m to get rid of them. I think it’s disgusting!

Yes. Annoying placement - probably deliberately annoying to nonsubscribers. Sorry to say, the best way to banish all ads is to subscribe to KZfaq. I don't like to be squeezed for subscriptions, but this one is cheap and is well worth it considering all the music I enjoy here.

Non ho capito l'ultimo accordo del primo tempo. Lo spartito recita un accordo di tonica senza la quinta ma qui viene eseguito altro. Eccezionali comunque anche se c'è errore.

I don’t like it either, I appreciate their talent and hard work but it’s not a piece I can enjoy listening to. I hardly recognised Arthur with his new hair style.

I have just uploaded this rare amateur recording of Arthur Jussen aged 15yo, playing an excerpt from Beethoven's Piano Sonata no.5. @@tituscaesar Arthur's Brahms intermezzo, opus 118, no 2, left me astonished. I feel he has a musical maturity far beyond his years. At his age, where was I? NOT loving Brahms, less playing it like that! At 15 yo. Truly a prodigy. His brother of course is cut from the same cloth.

Playing is fine, music is great. Video is terrible. Why do they have to cut to a different shot every three or four seconds? Gives you a headache. The way people shoot classical videos like this is pathetic. They can't let the music stand on its own, they have to be video "artistes"! Yuck.
