// Strawberries & Cream Boba Recipe //
I N G R E D I E N T S:
(Makes 2 tall glasses)
▹ 1/2 cup of quick cook boba - here's the brand I got on Amazon: amzn.to/3PHO42N
▹ 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
▹ 2 cups of frozen strawberries
▹ 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
▹ 2 cups of plant-based milk (I made my own fresh almond milk using the Milky Plant: milkyplant.com/ milk making machine)
D I R E C T I O N S:
1. Cook boba according to package instructions, drain in cold water, and pour into a small bowl. Add maple syrup, mix to coat, and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, add frozen strawberries and sugar and heat on medium. Stir as the strawberries heat up and the juices begin to release. Once warm, use a potato masher, fork, or immersion blender to finely mash or puree the strawberries into a jam-like sauce. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
3. In two pint glasses, layer the bottom of each with half of the strawberry mixture. Fill with ice nearly to the top. Next, add the plant-based milk (or homemade almond milk) to the glass, stopping your pour about an inch from the top. Finally, spoon half of the boba tapioca bubbles into each drink.
4. Serve with a boba straw and mix well before enjoying your strawberry milk tea.
