I remember searching the syrup aisle at the grocery store and thinking, “There has to be a better way than paying $6+ for an 8oz bottle of strawberry syrup.” A grandma was on the same baking aisle as me, so I went out on a limb, hoping she was a baker, and asked her if she knew how to make strawberry syrup.
