“If he’s not fighting he’s better off dead” I think that’s why Yuji cried “die”, because if he’s dead it’s truly better, that’s 15 fingers Sukuna dead

1:38 That applies to everybody in JJK. My take on the logic is that you are voluntarily giving away information about your ability, thus you are rewarded with stronger power (or however it applies to each Jujutsu user). Similarly to how Sukuna utilizes providing an escape route in his domain expansion to make it bigger/stronger. Give and takes as well as pacts are significant factors in JJK. 4:20 Megumi has not (nor has anyone) subjugated this shikigami (all the other shikigami he has been seen using have been subjugated by him). He can summon it at any time to subjugate it. He summoned it as a last resort I'm gonna take you out with me kinda thing (he was bleeding out and gonna die).

yeah I think its something you can specifically set up for your technique as a legitimate way to get more power. Id classify it as optimizing your abilities as seen with nanami.

I like the way they do this rather than in Bleach people just boast and explain their techniques to the opponent with no clear augmenting factor by doing so.

If you guys remember back in season 1 episode 5 when Sukuna somehow got surprised by Megumi when he was about to cast the same technique but did not do it and instead managed to get back to Yuji and since then Sukuna got very curious about Megumi. Sukuna says: "What a waste of talent", meaning that Megumi would've been able to defeat with Makora (Mahoraga). And in season 1 episode 23 we get a flashback when he faced that special grade (who had Sukunas finger) we saw a conversation between Gojo and Megumi where Gojo tells him "dying to win and risking death to win are completely different". He told him to be greedier and he did his first Domain Expansion instead of using Sacred treasure swing and ring, ring. What I'm getting at is that we've seen Megumi been close to doing this technique when being near death/ cornered a few times in season 1. Ironically he used it against that clown Haruta instead. This is why Megumi has a lot of potential and Sukuna seems to find that interesting (perhaps because of technique not being generic but being able to use shadows to store items etc?) So Megumi (by dying perhaps) would be able to take down Sukuna when he only ate 3 fingers if I remember correctly. Like Sukuna said in this episode that this scary as thing is actually very OP because of how it adapts to anything you throw at it. BTW no one in the history of Zenin clan has been able to tame/subjugate Makora so that's why Megumi got slapped all the way across the street lol

In a way I understand it is that curses have much to do with the mental/emotional state of people. So if someone understands how a technique works, the stronger that technique becomes All seriousness tho, I feel like it’s just Gege’s way of explaining techniques and moves (which is a common trope in shonen) by making it part of the lore

Itadori is able to see everything Sukuna does while he’s active. He wasn’t just remembering what Sukuna did to those people, he felt himself doing it.

um yes, explaining one's technique enhances the power. Nanami did so against Mahito in episode 9 or 10 when they fought for the first time, for example

The animation was only 30% of what the animators wanted to do but the working conditions are horrendous enough for even big animators to publicly shit on the studio

If Meg mastered this thing, he would have to be the strongest. Doesn't his domain (still only imperfect I think?) allow him to summon multiple of a single Shinigami? Bruh who could stop him if he dropped like a dozen of these on someone using Chimera Shadow Garden? And uncontrolled is probably its weaker state, my guess

I know it's necessary but I can't with the voice filter X'D and comparing two different anime character from different shows is a fool's errand, as Stan Lee said, the strongest is whoever the writer chooses to be the strongest in his story... For example, we literally got a slime that can't be cut and is resistance to fire in episode one in slime isekai.

It sucks that people spoiled so many reactors on that multiple lives ability. The manga readers for this show are pretty dumb tbh
@TexasGreed8 ай бұрын
What are you even talking about and was it shown in the anime yet? Otherwise you're spoiling it too.
@christi62368 ай бұрын
I think manga readers spoil EVERY popular title. Same was for Attack on Titan.
@madmonkey408 ай бұрын
Let's be real. It's ignorant to believe many of these anime reactors aren't just fake AF, b1ch-ass shills shamelessly pushing contrived narratives which reek of implicit racism for mere crumbs. I haven't watched enough Strawboys to include them, but it's obvious that most take their marching orders from spoiled, trashy children that overrun their echo chambers. In other words, you're likely not in for an authentic reaction either way so what's the point of getting upset at the manga readers who probably realize all of this and wanted to pass along a little FU to these brain-dead, parasitic dick-riders who've done anime and Asian culture a disservice? You'll get your cringe, manufactured, automaton reaction regardless...keep your panties on kid.

there are much more stronger than Sukuna in the anime verse. But in JJK I can only see Gojo doing this much damage.
