You should have activated the Portuguese subtitles, always check all subs before reacting, here in Brazil the guys do a lot of work on them. The "Portuguese subs" had ENGLISH below, and PORTUGUESE on top of the screen, both at the same time. The guys are super professionals with subs here. The video had special subtitles like some other songs, you activated the wrong ones maybe, the english part had subtitles in portuguese and english at the same time, but the portuguese part had only portuguese subtitles.

The 2D parts of the newer anime that were used on this video is NOT from the 2016/2017 terrible CGI anime, but from the not so recent 3 short movies it had. The visuals on these are quite good.
