I guess, you don't own a cat. We have two male ones. Their gentleness, politeness, cleverness, cuteness _awes_ us out day by day. One is strolling through the neighborhood and even there, his attaching character, especially towards us, is recognised. Likewise, we ask where he is, and he responds with a cute *meeeeeow!* Everyone who sees our cats is delighted.

Actually at my kitchen job we had staff lunch we prepared and we would pass the left over out to homeless people since we were downtown in to go boxes. This one lady specifically asked if there were cats in the kitchen LOL. Apparently some people prepare meals for homeless in their home kitchens and cat hair has been in the food

It's good they are tolerant of dogs since historically in Islam canines are considered a filthy animal. Then again, the Byzantines before them weren't like this, so maybe it carried over to the country's current population.

woow, so much brain-washing here. In Holy Islam, we never hate dogs or anything. In Islam, compassion is the key. There's no other religion or worldview which emphasizes the compassion and kindness towards animals, women, children, weak etc., more than Islam. It is that; in Islam, feeding dogs INSIDE THE HOUSE is totally forbidden, since they're not clean animals by their nature. But in Islam, feeding a dog outdoors or in yer garden is totally allowed. And no sir, the cvlture of Byzantine didn't transfer to Turks, only the Islamic values and some cvltures of Iran and ancient Turks transfered up to today's Turks.@@Quibblet

There are millions upon millions of strays and I love cats and dogs. How many do you think will in reality be rescued ? As long as this world exists the way it is , this problem will always exist because most people simply do not care enough and the fact is resources are very limited . I would love to have my own pets but I’m semi-homeless so how do I properly care for any animal when I can barely take care of myself financially ? It’s a nice thought but I have no delusions about every stray cat I see on YT getting adopted.
