omega As a vegetarian myself、i find this comment to be a bit misguided.. While humans can be happy and healthy on a vegetarian/vegan diet、dogs are obligate carnivores、and need meat in their diets. If you complained about the McDonalds because they source their meat from cruel factory farms、i would have even been inclined to agree. It would be preferable to use meat from animals who were not abused、preferably farm raised cows who had good lives and lots of room to graze and live normal cow lives before becoming food. But your objection to the use of any meat at all、when feeding an obligate carnivore、is just misguided.

Did you see when he bowed his head down so they could slip the leash over to his neck? That is when I thought as you, that he must have come from a good home. Feel sorry for his owner, who perhaps was elderly or sick. Glad the rescuers found the sweetest dog.

Nill Gddy but the dodo is just a channel. The people behind it do not stage or film anything. They simply pull and post stories of random people who save dogs and other animals on their channel. For example, Hope for Paws is a rescue on its own based in LA, and many times the dodo will post a video they pull from the Hope for Paws channel, or from Howl of a dog page which is in Romania, or they pull stories from Takis shelter in Crete, and simply post it on their channel. They don’t film anything themselves. If you read their comment on each story they post on Facebook, you’ll see how they refer to that particular rescue group in case one ones to donate

@Nill Gddythey do post thousands of videos and yes, I have no doubt that some are fake which is bad on the dodo's part. They need to be 100% sure of what they are posting. But The point I was making is that they do NOT do the filming themselves; they just post videos of "animal rescues" from all over the world and the rescue organizations I mentioned are anything but fake. I am 1000% against animal abuse so please do not tell me that I am defending someone profiting from that when I was simply trying to explain how their channel operates. Each individual story is unique and when I sense that one is fake, believe me, I will make a stink about it in the comments section to bring awareness!

@Nill Gddy I presented my point of view and JUST MY POINT OF VIEW. I never said YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE my logic. I did agree that Not all are real and legit. And yes I am unsure about the plot and narration but I believe these people might take small videos on their phones on different days of the animal they are helping to track daily progress and submit them to the dodo, which MIGHT be responsible for the editing portion (putting all together with music in the background and the owner narrating the journey). That is a POSSIBILITY. Anyway, I really do not have the energy to argue back and forth. I just shared my thoughts. Best to you!

@Nill Gddy I know dear :-(( I feel super sad about that and cried (more like bawled) many tears about the things I hear and see. But evil is among us and all over the world, just like innocent children who also are voiceless, and see abuse and cruelty from humans. Ugh!! :-( But I support many rescues I know work hard and tirelessly to help them and when I see their videos it brightens my heart.

There's a good chance that it was homeless people who did what they could to take care of him. I've seen homeless people use their last coins to buy food, and it'll be dog food for their own pooch long before they feed themselves. Of course, not all people would do it, but the vast majority of the homeless know how that poor boy and those like him feel, so they do what they can to help.

Then do not watch them unless you are a masochist. Jeeze, just send a check to your local dog pound or ASPCA organization. Why tie yourself up in emotional knots. You cannot do anything for the animal but send money to these organizations. But that is the purpose of these videos. . These organizations want you to adopt and not buy a dog from a breeder (I am not a breeder) but the price of adoption is so high, one has to be rather well off. No way they will allow an adoption for a person who has a low end income.

It is sad to think of..but I have a feeling that with people like the ones in this video that rescued that pup there will come a day when all dogs and cats will have loving homes..I believe that 😊

MILLIONS & MILLIONS of cats & dogs, whom were former pets, now unwanted, & their offspring, are SHAMELESSLY euthanized EVERY year in the USA, ALONE. People who abuse, neglect &/or who are merely irresponsible, immature, inept pet owners, who DON'T "fix," care properly for, or keep, their pets, RARELY face serious consequences for their unacceptable behaviors & crimes. Even in the MOST heinous cases of animal cruelty & neglect, the perpetrators, overwhelmingly, RARELY receive ANY prison time, & if they do, it's barely anything, nor do they usually receive any major monetary fines, if ANY. In fact, MANY, even those who've been REPEATEDLY convicted of felonious animal abuse & neglect, nevertheless, inevitably, resume acquiring animals with little or no consequences. I think the person who called the rescuers, most likely living in that apartment block, probably made that little shelter for him and put the towels down to keep him dry for a day or two until they could find a rescuer. It's not big enough for a person and a dog, and it's in a pretty weird place to be a homeless camp out.

I once found an abandoned puppy on the side of the road wrapped in towels. He had a bad case of mange but was so sweet and well behaved. Sadly my family couldn't keep him for 2 reasons: we already had 4 dogs (the maximum # you can legally own in my city) and we couldn't afford the treatment. We were able to get him to a rescue group that could treat him though. I hope he found a loving home after he got better.

Tell that to to billions of cows, pigs, and chickens that suffer their entire lives which ultimately ends with a horrific death all because humans need to satisfy their taste for meat. Think about the disconnect for a minute. We do everything we can to save cute dogs and cats but turn a blind eye to the sufferring of animals raised for slaughter. The reality is that there is no difference betweem a cow and a dog. They both feel pain and emotion. It's just your perspective that's different. Think about it.

Likewise, we also have a GSD and he is our spoiled fur baby. We wouldn't have it any other way. It boggles me how people can just discard animals like this..

Evelyn The Greatest sure. But I’ll personally thank the rescuers who took the job and time to do this kind of work instead. They saved the dog. And I will donate to them so that they can continue. Prayers will not help. But good hearts, motivation and donations from people will. PS I’m not flaming on you for being religious. I’m only saying maybe we should give these people some credit instead. I didn’t see God do anything. I saw good people doing something. Have a nice day though☺️❤️
