Stray Explained

Stray is the debut game by BlueTwelve Studio and has recently made its way to the Xbox. It released initially in 2022 for the PS4, PS5 and PC, and has you control an everyday housecat through the sci-fi world of “Walled City” and help the resident robots see daylight once again, all whilst avoiding the deadly bacteria life forms, Zurks.
The video game community took to Stray instantly when it was first announced back in 2020, with it being a hit with fans and critics alike. Even being nominated for Game of the Year! But just what made Stray so special?

This video deserves way more views. Also I wish this game had a cat customization mode. I think people would like to create their own cats to play as.

Who knew a game about being a cat could have such a compeling narrative lol Nice vid, always instresting to see what people think of the world design, i guess you can say the game really makes you feel like spiderm- a cat, i mean a cat

So, it was a copy of Kowloon City, Hong Kong. I wonder why there are so many games that used Hong Kong as the background. A parkour game called Mirror's Edge used Hong Kong Island as its background. Hong Kong was a British colony. But somehow Kowloon City, a very small area in Hong Kong, was not under British control because of a strange "lease treaty" between the British government and the Manchurian government.
