Lee Know is really different with Felix. He's very gentle with him. This might sound strange, but it reminds me of how he is with his cats. Soft spoken, gentle, sweet. He also seems rather protective of Felix. They are both in Danceracha, the dance team, (Lee Know being the leader and Felix being the youngest). And they were both eliminated from Stray Kids initially and then brought back, so they have similar experiences there. It's a really nice dynamic, our meowracha. :) I totally agree that Felix's calming energy influences Lee Know when it comes to their relationship.

It’s funny because Lee Know admits here that he doesn’t joke or tease Felix the same way he would Seungmin because of his soft spot for him. From the outside, the way Seungmin and Lee Know interact w/ each other can seem a little harsh and cold but they are both tsundere, so they rather show affection/caring out of the camera frame. Lee Know really changes the way he interacts with Felix because he knows Felix is soft hearted and wouldn’t be able to take his teasing like Seungmin. Everyone has a soft spot for Felix.

awesome analysis! another interesting point i want to add is that felix, upon arriving in korea to become an idol trainee, knew absolutely zero korean. lee know was his teacher during his trainee days and helped him learn the language! so their bond runs quite deeply, even down to something as core as language. :')

Felix is soft hearted and a very genuine person. Unlike most idols he gives me the vibe of “what you see is what you get” person. He feels safe and trustworthy

From everything I have ever seen, the guys all treat Felix a little differently. Almost tender I guess. Hyunjin has said Felix is like a child in his innocence and his honesty in his emotions. He said he must be protected and I think all the guys do this. Felix is treated gently, tenderly by all. Even the ones who don't like being touched, let Felix do it. He is really just genuine and loving person. Lee Know is actually quite fascinating to me. At first I thought he was cold but the more I got to know him the more I see how truly loving he is, his style is just more quiet. Felix's love language may be touch and everyone can see it. I think Lee Know is more about quiet service. Making sure the others have what they need or calming anxiety with a look or a touch. He is more of a watcher. He pays attention to everything and just quietly goes in the background making sure everyone is good.

You asked how Lee Know takes a compliment and the short answer is...he doesn't. Like you picked up here, he just kinda lets the compliments wash over him. If they're SUPER flattering, he just says "I know" or "of course", in a way designed to make the members irritated lol. He gives me the feeling of someone who doesnt take compliments well because he doesn't do things to get compliments. To him, he does things because he wants to, because it makes sense to, or because through whatever obligation or responsibility, he HAS to. And he's confident in his results, so when he gets complimented his reaction is usually gives off the vibe of either "i know you mean this to be nice, but i dont see a reason for this compliment" or "i know i did well, thanks for confirming it". Most of us want compliments as affirmations, which he doesnt seem to need. I think here with Felix though, the compliments are harder for him to brush off because Felix isnt trying to affirm or placate Lee Know. Felix is expressing genuine love and affection, does not care if he receives it back, and is specifically complimenting things Lee Know didnt TRY to cultivate. Felix has called Lee Know a person that makes him feel safe for a long time. Meanwhile, Lee Know has called Felix a "battery". He views Felix's presence as a way to recharge his own energy, because Felix is so giving and bright and positive. I love your perspective of Lee Know not feeling the need to joke as much because he has no need to protect himself with Felix. I think its pretty spot on. As others have mentioned, he's the softest with Felix and I.N-both are members who, when left on their own, dont see a need to tease. They're both soft hearted. And so Lee Know treats them accordingly.

I mean, the man made a beef Wellington from scratch, simply because Felix randomly mentioned that he'd love to eat one. It took a whole 3 hours from start to finish, and that's not counting the time he took to choose only the best ingredients. So I'll say, yeah, Minho has definitely got a soft spot for Lee Yongbok. 🤗

I really like Lee know's character..every time I watch him I'm always attracted by his personality and how he handles things..sometimes I feel like I need someone like Lee know in my life... I really respect the way members think and how they understand each other and the differences between them and how they act accordingly.. that's so cool.. thank you so much💗

In the last two kids room with them, Felix couldn’t convey what he wanted in Korean. So Lee know, not an English speaker, listened to him speak in English… I thought that was really sweet 😅

Lee Know adjusts to each member. He teases and harasses the ones that actually respond well to that or even like it to help with nerves before a performance. But the ones that don't handle teasing well, like I.N. and Felix, he NEVER harasses. He and Felix both just kind of let people be who they are and don't judge for it.

Lee Know has the type of personality where the more you learn about him the more you love and respect him. Although he has difficulties accepting and giving affection in certain ways, once you decipher his way of communicating, you notice how truly caring he is. His affection is both very honest but also very hidden... so fascinating! I really hope you check out more about him; I think it is very interesting to hear your opinion from a communication's point of view

interview S cawaii magazine Winter 2021 Part 3. Message from Lee Know to Felix : "When I get tired from hard work or continuous practice, I feel healed and relieved just by having Felix with me." Han said something similar : "When Felix pats me on the shoulder from time to time, I feel like all the stress has gone".

I don't think there are many Lee Knows out there walking the earth. I agree that he always has his guard up; but my opinion differs from yours in that I find it emotionally intelligent. These kids are living on blurry lines, if you think about it. Theirs is a very fragile world. They are probably at a point that they can't recognize a persona from a person. Lee Know is the only one in the group that keeps himself deeply rooted to the world he knew before all the fame thing happened. That's why you can't get him excited on compliments, they receive a million of them daily, literally. He will stand the strongest when the fame fades away. Because he never got swayed anyway.

Felix is one of Leeknow's favorite child next to I.N and Han Everybody else are his prey 😂

I love Lee Know/Felix relationship. You're right that LK is softer and sweeter. So cute. I'm interested in your perspective of Lee Know and Seungmin. Members say they have a love/hate relationship. I couldn't quite understand their relationship when I watched their episode. It would be cool to hear your interpretation of their communication.

Felix is the type of friend everyone wishes they could have. He’s warm and loving. He looks for those bonds to create with someone. He’s attentive and caring. Wow if I ever meet someone like him, I’ll make sure they stay in my life forever!

It might be some important context and background knowledge for you but Minho (and hyunjin) are the only members without siblings! Minho was also always the youngest in his family + professional groups until SKZ when he suddenly became second eldest. I think this shows in how hes mischievous yet independent. Additionally, Minho is the only member of SKZ whose worked outside of being an idol + lived alone!

Leeknow said IN and Felix are the only person who he doesnt tease as they can be hurted easily:). im impressed that Leeknow is a type of guy who has warm heart(?) who cares staff behind the concert scene who put lots od effort for them. this is a somewhat unpopular take, but based on my observations and things you said in this video, i think lee know is actually one of the most sensitive members. he's quite guarded and seems like he uses teasing to keep people at arms length, but he can relax a lot around felix because he knows that felix is just as sensitive as he is, albeit in a more obvious way. i think because of that, they're really considerate of each other in many ways.

I 100% agree with you. I've been a fan of Stray Kids since pre-debut and Lee Know has always been my bias. I'd like to think I have a very good perception of the kind of person Lee Know is and I totally agree that this is the most chilled and relaxed I've seen him. He's very chatty, upbeat, no awkwardness or feeling the need to crack a joke just to add some conversation to the screen time. He loves them all but it's quite obvious with the others he focuses more on the need to be the older and responsible one and make sure he's focused on a sense of responsibility at the same time as having a chat with a mate. But with Felix I just get a total chill vibe where he's let his guard down, less worried about his responsibility of being an elder and is genuinely just letting loose

I'd love to see you analyze Leeknow and Seungmin's two kids room conversation. They have quite an interesting relationship.

You describe Felix exactly the way I see him. Non-confrontational, loving, sensitive and just being a safe space. Maybe that's why he's my bias. I'm a new Stay and I feel like I can just melt in the warmth that is Felix☺️☺️🥺 And I don't know much about Lee Know but he gives me big brother vibes, maybe it's just me. He feels stable like you know you can lean on him when you need him. It's so cool to hear your thoughts on their relationship as I don't think I see them interact often and I'm loving this🥰🥰❤️

I know Lee Know is often associated with other adjectives like fierce or similar words but I think if I had to describe him with one word, it would be gentle. Sure he teases the others, but only because he knows they like it. He knows Felix is really sensitive, so instead he’s more calm and open when he’s interacting with him :)

If I were in a Two Kids room, I'd say the biggest charm about Lee Know is: he doesn't seek recognition for anything he does. It might be seen as an insignificant charm but I think is actually really really big and impressive. We are always looking for recognition, we want to be the spotlight, even behind good actions there's a need for recognition, something that I haven't seen in Lee Know. How do we know this? If he makes part of a choreo we will never know unless another team members let us know, if he does anything nice for them, he'll never be the first one to let us know. He holds back about his dancing skills to be seen as a homogeneous group. This is the kind of person who knows who he is and doesn't need anyone's validation, not even about his dancing skills. He has his own ego but he doesn't feel the need to fill it with compliments from others, but still he does not trust his own judgment way too much and is introspective about his continuous improvement in human and professional quality

poor lino just isnt great with words/spoken compliments 😂😅 we all know his love language lies more in acts of service and stuff like that, but he is extra sweet and gentle around lix so he tried his best to match his energy with the compliments 💕

The soft and warm side of Lee Know is what made him shoot up my bias list as I got to know the guys. I find him incredibly relatable, I also have lots of walls and find it difficult to express myself with loved ones. Interesting then that my favorite member is Felix, his warmth is so strong he just makes you feel comfortable and appreciated

11:04 What's interesting to me about Lee Know and compliments is that rather than him dismissing them, it just feels like he acknowledges the intent of the person to make him feel good/appreciated while not giving much importance to the actual words of the compliment? To me, Lee Know seems secure in who he is and what his boundaries are. Being unique and uninfluenced by other people's opinions is important to him, which I think includes positive opinions like compliments, and not just negative opinions. So he lets them "wash over him" because he wouldn't want any compliments to change his behavior either. He definitely marches to the beat of his own drum, which is so interesting to see about a kpop idol. I think the fact that Lee Know had an actual life and career before becoming a trainee (and only being a trainee for less than 2 months) is so evident. He's such a wildcard

When you said that lee know maybe jokes around as a way to not look so vulnerable, yeah, i think you are hitting the jackpot there. I also believe that's his way to develop friendships even and that's why i also believe he and felix became closer throughout the time and that it wasn't something inmediate. I actually think that felix is one of the members who takes lee know out of his zone of comfort, so i don't think it was easy for them to be close. I mean, although felix is always trying to please people, he's just naturally kind and affectionate and that's something he doesn't change, so i guess lee know just had to get used to it if he wanted to be closer to felix (as other members did). I'm not saying this in a bad way tho, i also believe that lee know needs a friendship with someone who just lets him be and doesn't necessarily goes the way lee know's wants them to go (like bickering all the time or sharing the same kind of humour, i think he already has that kind of relationship with all the other members, maybe chan is an exception too), but someone who offers him a unconditional and genuine friendship, he just have to embrace it haha

this one and lee know x changbin were definitely a couple of my favorites from this series. it’s really interesting go see how lee know treats each member a bit differently according to their needs and personalities. he’s definitely a lot softer around felix and i.n which is refreshing to see

About what you said, I've noticed when Minho gets complimented, if he expects the compliment he just jokes saying he knows he's good and smiles, but if you caught him off guard he would get shy a little bit, thank you and move on. I feel that leeknow really doesnt want to show his feelings or expose his vulnerability in public (i.e. on cam). But he might be more open in private, especially to han and i suspect hyunjin as well. They have mentioned that he came to them to talk about his worries. He is probably just a very private person who doesnt like to show his emotion publicly.

I’ve seen most of the episodes and I was really looking forward to the Han and Changbin episode but the Lee Know and Changbin ep turned out to be my favourite. A bit unexpected but I really liked their relationship.

I loved the og 2KR and I love this analysis. I kind of like casually psychoanalyzing people sometimes, and you pointed out a lot of the same things I've thought myself, eg Lee Know (really, both of 2min) using teasing as a sort of coping mechanism so that he doesn't get hurt because when it comes down to it, he really is such a sweet person. And I don't think that the teasing is a bad thing at all, it's a love language of sorts with all of them, but I think it would be really cool to see him grow to be comfortable with being soft more often 😊

i love the teasing side of Lee Know but i also think that Lee Know is really fragile and also a bit uncomfortable when it comes opening up and getting real with feelings as if it would hurt him if he takes it seriously. So if someone like maybe Han compliments him through a joke or while teasing him at the same time he takes it better and doesnt feel like it is serious so it wouldnt be hurting him thats why he doesnt put up a guard of some sort.It makes me feel like Lee Know really wants to be loved but is scared of getting hurt so he provides love through jokes or teasing like in a more superficial kinda manner rather than a deep full of feelings sort of talk.Thats why he lets that guard down a little bit when he is with HAN since HAN approaches him with jokes and nothing too serious to be overwhelmed.I hope Lee Know can let himself pour all he has on his mind and understand that being vulnerable with the right people next to you can be very beautiful and soothing and doesnt necessarily end up feeling heartbroken

You asked, so: Lee Know doesn't take compliments well. Not sincere ones, anyway. A jokingly phrased "Oh, you're soooo good-looking" will get a deadpan "Yeah, I know" -- because the compliment was phrased humorously and because he knows he didn't have anything to do with the genetic coding that resulted in his looks. But a genuine compliment about his dancing -- something resultant from his own efforts -- will have him poopoo-ing it and diverting attention.

Love your analysis! Also, it's well known by the fandom that Lee Know has a really soft spot for Felix. Literally all of them do because Felix is an angel and everyone is more gentle with him, but since Lee Know is someone who teases a lot, he can't show this side as much on Felix, so he is definitely more gentle with Felix, not in a forced way, he just loves him that much. He's very protective of him (again, they all are, especially Chan), but Lee Know protects and takes care of Felix in his own way.

Some dynamics about Lee Know and Felix (you probably already know these things) : Initially they were both eliminated from Stray Kids back before the final team was decided. That absolutely broke the everyone's hearts. But later, JYP decided to give them a second chance and brought them back (much to the unbridled JOY of the other boys). JYP then left the final Should-They-Stay-or-Should-They-Go vote up to the public, which overwhelmingly voted for them to stay. So they were the last two to join Stray Kids. Also, Lee Know is older than Felix, so there's a hyung / maknae relationship there, which can sometimes impact their interactions. Lee Know is a native speaker of Korean, whereas Felix initially struggled to learn the language (which is one of the reasons he was eliminated in the beginning). So for a long time, Felix did a lot more listening and learning, and was a bit shy about initiating conversations or answering questions because he didn't feel confident. Felix is very sensitive and sometimes, even fragile. He takes everything to heart. So Lee Know has always been very careful because even though he comes across as sharp-tongued or indifferent, Lee Know actually cares a lot about the rest of the SKZ and would never want to hurt Felix.

Love 2 Kids room in general and don't have a favourite but I am always facsinated by Lee Knows. Was waiting for Liz and LEE Knows episode and loved watching every second of it. If you have time, Lee Know and Hyunjin's dynamic is also so unique and even though I know how close all of the are, to be hinest, I didn't know until their 2Kids Room how close Hyunjin and Lee Know are specifically. It was truly one of the best episodes of 2Kids Room for me. Hope to watch it with you some day. 🌞

for what I would say it's the pretty opposite dynamic, I recommed Lee Know x Seungmin 2KR. Honestly one of my favorite dynamics cause I love the layers of how they interact.

I think Lee Know is very soft inside and I definitely understand why he build up walls sometimes and don’t want to show his vulnerability. As and idol seen by so many people and not all are nice, some are jealous, etc. I really understand it, 🌳 in front of a camera. SKZ are such big gifts for each other. They grown so much in their personalities by being in the same group and living together. I think we all can learn a lot from them about how to live with different types of personalities. For me they are blessings 😊🫶🏻.

I actually think Lee Know has a lot of different moods and he changes a lot depending on that. Because like in this two kids room I pretty sure he was way too tired, when he's energetic you would get so much chit chat from him and silly behaviour)))He also definitely likes hugging and other forms of affection he just joking when he rejects them. There's so many videos of Lee Know showing his affection and him being happy when members showing it to him.

The JYP CEO lets those 2 come back to the group, so Lee Know starting to be very protective or watch over Felix since. Felix never lovey dovey with Chan & Lee Know, he is a very serious & kind treat those 2 big brothers.

It's been too long!

If stray kids was a play Lee know is one of the crew members that make helps maintain the production backstage you rarely see him caring for the members on screen but behind the screen he’s very caring. I’m kinda the same I have issues with opening up emotionally/physically with people. I’ve been working on trying to not restrain myself and close off especially now that I have a child. I’ve never been comfortable with physical contact except with my boyfriend and now my daughter that is. He’s the first person that I’ve let in enough to be comfortable to the point where I found myself wanting to initiate the physical contact/affection and receive it. When I first introduced him to my family they noticed how I interacted with him and even told him he must be special for me to want hug or be so close to him for the amount of time I was next to him (😅 I really don’t like physical contact if you didn’t notice) I rarely hug or kiss my own family members and get very stiff/awkward if they approach me first. Thankfully my mom/siblings are understand why I’m this way and know that despite my standoff and reserved attitude I do love and care for them but in my own way. But yeah my boyfriend and daughter are very affectionate people and it’s so strange to let myself be receptive of their affection. Although I now take breaks from all them as I get overstimulated by it once I had a bad panic attack from trying to force myself. I didn’t know how to handle that it still new to me it’s only been a few years. I just hope I’m doing good enough for my daughter to not notice or for them both be to effected by it. She’s a very affectionate person very much reminds me of Felix.
