Dorms and missions are the norm for groups. I think they do it because having them all live together in a dorm and doing team missions help bond them together.

as a 2020 stay i love watching new stay's journey with stray kids and helping them out so i'll try to answer your questions

I know you said you are okay with spoilers, but I will wait to tell you my take on the survival show. I think you watching without knowing what all is going to happen is a good way to really experience how it was back then. I think experiencing the show will help you understand who these boys were from the beginning and to show why Stays are so bonded to them.

It’s great to watch another reaction from you 😸 Since they are close to releasing their new album I think it would be nice to keep up with what they are doing on KZfaq, Instagram, etc, because during comeback season, they release A Lot of content (trailer, teaser pictures, teasers videos for the songs, interviews, a mashup of all songs, a whole video explaning each track, the thought process of producing the album, etc). I think it would be more enjoyable to watch as these things get released, because it’s harder to catch up with all the content later, and the first comeback season after becoming a Stay is so magical! Also, I think watching what they are doing now, makes the survival show even more impactful. However, I do understand that it can be quite overwhelming to react to it all, so it’s totally understandable if you prefer to just watch and enjoy things by yourself in your own time, just follow your own pace! I see the Stay Mama-bear showing up.. unfortunately, there are a lot of rude/anti/toxic folks in the mix these days that feel they have the Right to say mean and/or disgusting things to & about others, behind the veil of "personal PC opinions' & not to a person's face. SKZ [esp. Chan] receive an ridiculous amount of verbal abuse & hate towards him & the members.. that sometimes comes from 'fans' [I call them Leaves]. Many of Channie's room vids rocked with lectures for Stay not to make issues worse, unfortunately, it did - causing them to place Chan's Room on hiatus for almost a year now. That was a very Sad Day in Stayville. But Leader Wolf-Chan has made it very clear that He [& his members] are grown-up men & they Can take care of any issues when necessary. He actually handle a similar situation on his live & did so in such an extraordinary way, I am sure he can take care of himself, his members, staff, and Stay. I completely understand your visceral reaction to the negative comments on Chan's nose. I'm probably about to share TMI but I don't care lol. As a mom, a victim of bullying as a child (which I'm sure everyone was at some point in their lives unfortunately), a victim of spousal abuse (don't worry, I've been single and happy for 12yrs now 🤗), and an empathetic person by nature, it hurts my heart to hear people (especially so-called fans) say inappropriate or mean-hearted things to my favorite sweet boys😡. However, I had to realize early on, that even though the main fanbase of Straykids is from 20-40yr olds (with lots of us over 40 STAYS like me 😎... to even 70yr old stays🫡🤴👸😚We love ya'll), there are still a small percentage of immature teenage fans (and even some immature adults tbh 🙄🤨) who either haven't been taught any manners, or just love to stir the pot to get a reaction from the artist through rude, disrespectful comments or behavior. They feel like if they say something rude, they'll get noticed and mentioned by their "favorite" person, which is actually quite sick IMO. And sometime's it's haters from other groups who love to just slip into the chats of groups they hate and cause chaos. It's an unfortunate consequence of being an idol and shouldn't happen, but luckily, Channie is very wise for his age and impressively shuts the haters down with ease and does it respectfully. I admire him so much more as not only an idol or leader for how he handles these situations, but as a human being and a man. Chan is the best example of a true Alpha male. He takes care of and protects his "pack" (aka SKZ and Stay) but also silences any "threats" with firmness, wisdom and respect. His parents deserve a Nobel peace prize for raising that man right! Lol! Sry for the novel but I related to your reaction so much so I had to inform you that this will not be the first time or last time you hear our beautiful, sweet boys get hated on. Prepare yourself and just keep sharing your love with them. We just need to drown out the haters with our love, appreciation and affection for these wonderful, talented, kind, genuine guys❤❤❤.

Hi... Stray kids definitely uniques as jyp said, this is the first time, the leader created a group and not the company. However, since JYP entertainment is one of the biggest entertainment company in Korea, JYP entertainment historically and continuesly have a lot of survival show to form a teams. If I'm not mistaken the earliest survival teams show for JYP entertainment is 'ONE Day' that forms 2 group 2PM and 2AM, later on 'Sixteen' that forms Twice.. then stray kids, then continue with 3 more survival show... Others can correct me if I'm wrong
