I personally think the best way to balance compress special action is to make it so he can pick up downed teammates like Iida/All Might/Deku, they'd fully vanish inside his pocket like when he picks up alive teammates so they couldn't be knocked out of your hands and killed like when those 3 pick you up if you hit them before they can drop you somewhere safe, but the trade-off would be obviously compress has nowhere near the movement those 3 do, and instead of dropping them to insta res, he can just keep them pocketed until they self res in 20 seconds.

I've been playing compress a decent bit since his buff in unranked and I've been doing super good with him. Haven't taken him to ranked yet though since I still want to practice him a bit more but he's SUPER fun. Also WOW that momo was toxic lol

bro i decided to try compress on a whim not even knowing he got that buff. I've been having the MOST fun i've had since launch with both a new battle pass and picking up a new character I feels amazing

Genius play on the Momo. Charing the Ibara head-on means Ibara doesn't have to waste time to aim, meaning Momo goes down quickly so she can flame her teammates! Such a teamplayer, that. /ironyoff Good stuff not getting too riled up about that Momo-turned-Saltmine though. That's something everyone needs to keep in mind: Stay cool no matter what happens. Mr. Compress was always a fun side-pick for me (given that I love playing Kendo and they both have a shield that they can use to block / reflect attacks), so the buff is helpful to reposition in a pinch. That Alpha requires way more braincells than I have to consistently lead shots with though, so I probably won't be able to do all too well with him. Still fun to pick him! Edit: That Momo was fixiated on her shield, as if she needed that Alpha card! All rightfully yours. (Heck, even the Iida would've gotten more use outta that AoE Heal.)

The icing on the cake is them going back to the fight they JUST LOST 3v3 as a 2v3 thinking something was gonna change. Like back off, reground, level up , rez your teammates even? But nah it’s like constantly fighting is the only thing on their brain. Trying to save these teammates (from themselves) is often a lost cause imo. Best case scenario you manage to peel for them and run away to lick your wounds, worst case you end up dying yourself trying to call yourself a “good teammate” to save them.

I would be perfectly fine with Compress being able to pick up downed teammates... All it would take is trying to chase him and down him too so it wouldn't be too op (also that Momo was absolutely awful and blamed others for their mistakes)

Maybe they should make compress' marbles/trucks bounce and do damage on each point of contact? Or make the marble do x damage and the truck do more but the catch is you have to manually trigger the expansion

I don't see how him picking up his teammate with his special would make him op. It's not an instant rez like the carry drop method. You still have to run up and pick them up, then set them down to normal rez them. All this as a support.

Returned to this game after I heard the bug fixes began, I'm willing to try this game again XD I've enjoyed Compress so much, and those reduced gamma times is so great! It's become more apparent that getting caught mid teleport is frustrating, but it helps me understand that I gotta be smart against certain situations. And yes, Dabi is kinda annoying to fight, cause his alpha sometimes ignore the reflect. Also, wow... holy fuck, that Momo barking at you guys, claiming you to be boosted, when he was 1/1/1-ing against a 3 man team to focus an ibara is hilarious, even me, an unranked casual knows how pathetic that is. Bet he is enjoying a downward spiral out of Ace XD Now, with all this said, Switch MHUR has been rather slow and sometimes empty, had 5 out of 6 matches fill out 5 teams with bots, for 3 days straight. Also, as a ibara player, im now scared that some people are gonna focus me XD

If u grab someone as they get knocked down u put them in ur pocket while down (probably glitch) but its not even that strong especially if it makes him drop them when hit. Hopefully they add it soon tho

Mr. Compress finally feels possibly viable! Still not sure who’s the worst this Season yet, Compress is still up there for his sad sad shield. One thing people never talk about is how he can he shot out of his teleport mid air. A Bakugo literally beamed me from the sky. Should have ARMOUR but the devs decided to have faster launch time. Even with the buff he can barely escape. Armour is just better.

Ive been saying for a while that Compress is a skill diff. Good compress players are terrifying and with the buff to his gamma I think him with a purple card makes him utterly crazy and hard as hell to pin down

As a Momo main I get that ibari is a direct counter to us as well as heal for team but I never directly engage the way your Momo did unless it was a coordinated effort > I rarely see ibari end game it’s because others with better damage and mobility WILL focus her. Essentially that Momo threw her life away for nothing that ibari would have been killed or a better opportunity to attack would have presented itself

A mad player is a bad player. They'd win a lot more games if they could just chill out. Clearly they have some understanding of the game, but their decision making is just brute force. I just can't stand mad players. It just completely ruins my enjoyment of any game. And when you climb higher in most games, the number of mad players increases. So depressing.
