I ordered this dongle and am excited to receive it! I do have a question for the neobuds pro 2. Are still able to use the edifier connect app with the earbuds with the dongle connected? I know the earbuds don't support multipoint connectivity and the app does take full advantage of the earbuds feature.

Nice! You will have to disconnect from the dongle then connect to your phone via Bluetooth. All of your EQ/control settings will save though. Be sure to turn on LHDC in the app first as well 👍

does it work with poweramp player? most audio flac you can buy online is only at 48kHzhz/16bit. but starting to see a lot of 98kHz/24bit audio, and skipping 48Khz/24bit. 192kHz/24bit or 192kHz/32bit audio is quite rare.

Apple music supports 24bit/192khz on android. I am using on sansung galaxy s22. And android has inbuilt LDAC support.

Thank you for the video. Sadly on Kickstarter they say they will ship to the US, UK and Canada. I live in Germany, so no LHDC for me.

I have a samsung s21 and ive ordered the Opera 05's. If i change the codec to LDAC on my phone which is supported by the Opera 05's, I do not need the dongle yeah? I am using Tidal streaming service.

On Android Apple Music doesn't do High Res, because of Android's inherent resampling issue prevalent for years, not because of Apple

Yea I actually got the iPhone 15 pro for this video specifically just to test the dongle. It’s a solid upgrade over my 12 pro though so I think I’ll keep it ☺️

How do you measure a percentage improvement for something subjective like sound quality? This is very vague, and without a double blind test (or even single blind test) it's very useless to say "sounds better or richer" because you're already biased towards the LHDC sounding better.

Hmm LHDC.. now latest is lossless.. Just a meh diff sumore its kinda disturbin to handle the phones with bulky dongles..But nice cliche. Peace!

@@pickyaudio My bad, I should have explained my use. I use FIIO BTR3K with either 15 BA drivers IEM or 8 BA + 1 DD IEM. Those IEMs are very sensitive to noise and sound, and they should be used with DAP. So a stuck dongle doesn't help because I needed it clear off the phone for practicality, but anything I want, I just usea short USB C - USB C and I get full range sound frequency as it is intended, and proceesed by Dual DAC chips.
