Do you have a large music library on your computer? Set your collection free by creating your own music server. Then stream tracks to all the devices on your home network - anything from a smartphone to a laptop.
To make things easier, we'll install SparkyLinux (based on Debian) as a base for the mini-server. Then we'll utilise Docker with the Portainer web interface to simplify the setup of the Airsonic software.
Not only does Airsonic support numerous audio formats, but it also comes with an integrated Podcast receiver. As an added bonus it can be used to listen to internet radio stations.
So get ready to unleash your music compilation using the power of free and open source software.
