This was my first big red flag. She's effectively curated a cult. Not one person around her will question her, they just act like an echo chamber parroting her own thoughts back at her which she takes as affirmation. I'd wager actual money that she actually does stuff like this all the time as well. Nobody in her cult is free thinking enough to question her, so she'd get away with it all the time. She only fucked up by gaining as much attention as she did, which is usually what happens.

When she "has paper over the screen" she has another monitor to the side of the screen uncovered and not recorded. This is verified when she takes the apparent blindfold off and looks to the side reading a screen then realises what she does and slowly looks back to the screen infront of her.

Its even better in the end, after she kills the boss she removes the blindfold looks to the side and rotates the camera perfectly to the front of the character before removing the cover on the screen. The run was over in her head so she forgot that she was still not suposed to be seeing since the screen was still covered. There are so many tells

I don't doubt the 2nd monitor theory. How else would you have lighting from the game still flashing on her and the camera picking it up. I don't know if she was tilting her head to look at a higher monitor. To me she was tilting her head to look out the bottom of the mask cause that mask was sitting higher than they are suppose to so she could see out the cracks at the bottom. So she tilts her head up to look out the cracks better.

its like a food chain in a way, streamer wants clout so they fake a blindfolded speedrun for views, more popular streamer reacts for views of their own, and then speedrunners that know about blindfolded speedruns call you out and get millions of views on their own, and then the drama dies out till the next time someone tries it, so in reality only the streamer who faked it ends with nothing, its a really stupid idea and people need to stop thinking that their poorly done faked speedruns that will ultimately end in their downfall are a good idea, because if theres one community that are better detectives than 4Chan in the early 2010's, its the speedrunning community.

I don’t think they get nothing. She has made bank off this for sure through subs, donations, and publicity. Even with the controversy still going she has people still defending her and they are most definitely still paying her money. Hence why they’re so invested in her defense. I'm not familiar with this game, but it must be pre-recorded. The camera was moving around, which I assume is controlled by the mouse, yet she doesn't move the mouse. She only clicks the mouse button. Either that or someone sitting behind her is playing the game via a gamepad.

In my opinion the most damning piece of evidence is at the start of Karl's video. She runs into a crystal formation then turns and runs perfectly around it. If you cant see, you have no way of knowing you have run into something, much less how much you need to move to get around it. Even if you correctly guess you are running into something, you have no way of knowing if it is a small crystal formation or a large wall.

(Source: Am French, watched French debunk video about a school that could train “psychic kids”. Their demo involved asking kid to give the color of an object held in front of them. they were all using this specific blindfold and it was a big part in the debunking. KZfaqr showed on camera how you can see through the blindfold if you tilt your head)

It's extraordinarily obvious that 99% of people have never seen a blindfolded speedrun attempts of anything. Go watch some. They are constantly full of hilarious goof ups and ridiculous moments and camera all over the place. Because they are literally blind. Losing their player location all the time and have to take time doing goofy reliable strategies like rubbing up against walls back and forth, stopping and thinking for a long pause to find and work out from memory their exact location, then execute memorised movements from there to save their run, if they fail they have to restart because they have no idea where they are. Her runs show none of this, not even a little.

You always have well thought out ideas and great presence in your videos. It is also worth mentioning that during the 2nd run she was looking up and while the camera showed a screen blocked, the camera of her set up did not show the place she was facing. It is entirely possible that if the run wasn't prerecorded she could have just set up a monitor above the one that is on camera and looked at that.

No human is able to replicate such free-form movement so consistently multiple times that they get a frame perfect sync between different videos. Especially when one of them is live.

In all fairness, she hasn't handled this well at all, and I don't believe her for a second. But I can also understand being fed up with being questioned over and over. Honestly, even though it's probably not the best idea, if anything is something I'd give her a pass on because she did plan to address all those questions, which she did (poorly). Nonetheless, I think the timeouts, etc, are a non issue.

It’s not that weird to time people out if they’re being annoying and spamming the same thing over and over in chat. Lots of streamers do that, it just so happens that in this case the person was trying to dodge accountability.

The saddest part about it is that every single person in that server was probably just as oblivious and enthusiastic reading that message as the person that typed it. Like holy shit these people need to do more than touch grass. They need to go out and have a one night stand so they can finally come to their senses and realize simping for a random streamer just because she's showing some cleavage will always equal nothing but diminishing returns.

I don't watch the guy and have nothing against him personally but i keep seeing video's with clips of him changing his view to align with what others say and question why anyone takes his opinions serious at all.

They're usually made up of lonely people who want to belong to something bigger, and feel like they're doing something that matters. That's not a jab at lonely people, it's human nature to want to belong, and it's easy to get dragged along with the hype, and get caught up in emotions. I really despise people who take advantage of others in that way.
