The problem is that it's a massive overpunishment, combined with the fact that it's a gimmick that generally isn't effective or is very swingy thanks to the damage and penetration values of the game.

@@karlash3769 I think the HE nerf was the worse change WG ever made, at least before that, hitting a wheel or a track would do a few hundred splash damage, now you hit the wheel, or even a mudflap, or a few mm of mantlet or spaced armour and you do 0 damage, pretty much forced everyone trying to play the KV2, M4 sherman with the 105, and all the other HE based guns, just spam gold ammo all the time, takes all the fun away from them imo.

Right at the beginning, that split second when QB realizes that gun is aimed directly at him but before the tank starts moving, is such a beautiful moment. Pause the video and run through that frame by frame - there's about a 10-frame sequence that tells you EVERYTHING going through his mind.

@@Meatgrinder945 "you're telling me only 1 tank 1 shots you? rather than all of them?" edit: on a more serious note, dont take full ammo in german tanks unless you hate yourself. A good german main makes do with 16 shots (or less, 7 or 13 is ideal in the tiger 1). Gotta know which ammo racks to fill and which to leave empty.

As someone who only has minor knowledge of WoT back in the earlier days (like 2015 or so jesus) and have been playing War Thunder since 2016, THIS. This compiles both good and bad of the game while also reminding me and everyone of one thing... *no matter the tank or game, when a 182mm BESH loaded with 21kg of tnt is fired at your general direction, you WILL be HUMBLED*

The difference is: One one-clips every tank in the game while having laser pointer for a gun the other caps out at around 2000 damage and can miss broadside of a barn

i see it as a win when i take 300 dmg from FV as JgPz E100 or when i straight up BLOCK it. ONE ANNOYING THING THO is that blocking FV's HE shells doesnt count toward your dmg blocked :)
