I read somewhere on a good theory why Priest didn't cash in on Seth. Seth had friends. If he cashed in on Seth, he always had allies like Cody, Jey or Sami waiting in the wings who could screw it up for him. Drew however, had no allies. Nobody would help him if he was cashed in on.

wasn't he also the one saying he was glad for Punk to be there for commentary "as it would make his win even sweeter" (or something like that)? But honestly I like that they gave Drew a +1 on his world title resume...the next time he inevitably wins one he'll be a 4 times world champion. In the 2000s they created more than five 10+ times champions (that I can think of) and I think there hasn't been a single one added in over 10 years now...I want more short reigns to inflate the numbers and no more attempts for a longest reign (at least for a few years now), to give the entire main event scene more cred and not just the top two guys
