I love your technique, your philosophy, and your rationale and approach in oil painting. And of course your hand and eye that are so well trained by you!.... Love it all. Hope to move in that direction soon...I too fell in love with David Leffell when I first picked up his book years ago. And also not to mention Lady Agnew on the cover of Sargent's book by Radcliff. I knew then I wanted to learn to paint like them. Then you came along and I discovered a living contemporary for a renewed vision of art I had lost years ago. Thank you Garin

It is nice to see how the artist and model interact. I have never hired models but I very much want to paint figure from life , I can't seem to get the results I want from imagination.

Love watching videos on portraits. Only thing that gives me those uncontrollable movements in your blood and spine that makes you want to paint.

Yes, it's like this insanely intense urge to create. It's not even a good feeling at the time, it feels really serious, but beautiful once I've got it out my system.

I enjoy your class but the heavy breathing is a big distraction, maybe move your mic or hear me out, stop breathing 😂jk on the last part. Thank you for the free lesson. Big help. Just the mic location is my issue.
