Thanks for watching! This is one of my longer videos, edited without speeding up the footage. Usually I double or triple the video speed. Which videos do you prefer? Longer regular-speed videos or shorter/faster timelapse?

If you dont have a silicone squeegee like in the video, old library/credit cards are perfect for creating a similar look!

this is awesome! do you have ideas in mind before starting a painting like this or do you just kind of let the ideas come when you start? i have 2 very large canvases that i was gifted for christmas and i am struggling to think of what to put on them. i am hoping that if i just start and get a layer down, ideas will come to me.

Theoretically, could this be recreated on a brick wall??

Yes, mostly. The only part that would be problematic is the tape stuff, you'll have a really hard time creating good clean tape lines on brick due to the uneven surface. But everything else, the brush work, stencil, spray paint, etc., could be done on any surface.

Yes, if I'm going to be taping over a previous layer of paint, it has to be very dry before applying the tape. I use a small fan to speed up the drying process.

So I make videos of a style of art I've done for decades, and just because it's also a style that a lot of other people do and some of them make videos of it, too, that means it's a "knockoff"? Ok, sure, pal. 🙄
