Street Cars in the DESERT - Arizona Throws Down! 16 Street Cars took to the desert to avoid traffic and police so they could battle it out for the title of Arizona’s street car KING! With over $2500 on the line, Imports and Domestics alike came to throw down on a road far away from the city of Phoenix, where they could race uninterrupted. Street cars from New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah lined up for this Arizona Cash Days to iron out the new king, join us as we capture race after race all the way till the sun came up!

I did and it was good, but I thought the racing was better in this one and the cars overall much more relatable. I'm not as interested in big dollar drag cars :) . Keep it up tho, the content has been great!

Did you not see the 2 Novas, Grand National, DSM etc? I was also referring to power plant diversity; even the Mustangs were a mix of mod motors and classic SBFs. A lot better than the recent trend of "Here's a Corvette racing a Mustang...with an LSX swap."

it would have been fine but he put a LS in a car that already had a capable engine, a proper built 327 will rev to 8,500rpm faster then a LS could ever dream.

Yeah man for sure don't mess with a 327. My dad tells a story of a guy he knew back in the early 80s that had a 327 corvette and one time he rode with him, the guy would peg the factory 8000 rpm tach, count 1-2-3 and then shift it.

the city doesn't create tracks. There are so many hurdles into building one, including funding. Who's going to pay for it?

@@FortyTwoAnswerToEverything There actually is a lot of city's like that but it's not legal so nobody talks about it so no cops get in trouble and the racers can keep racing. We have a place like that in Tucson and I've heard other city's have it too.

We have a lot of fun here in Arizona, most the time they leave us alone when we go out in the middle of nowhere. It’s not hard, 30min outside any town is a flat street track. 😎

@@FortyTwoAnswerToEverything I've been involved around a couple tracks. It's not as much as funding for the track as insurance. That's what kills the track and why they make you follow sanctioning body safty guidelines for your car. That sucks for people just wanting to run their quick street car on the weekends. I need a cage to run my wife's car, no thanks.

I'm glad that it was still a Ford Powered Mustang. Not all this LS swapped Garbage. Those New Coyote Powerplants are Awesome, Fast to begin with and very strong bottom end, can take alot of Power. I'm kinda Old School 460 based BBF in 1986 Mustang. N/A single 4150 Out of the box Trickflow Heads and Intake, solid roller cam 10.4:1 Comp. Pump Gas, C-4 Manual Valve Body No Brake. 275/60/15 M/T Drag Radial completely street driven (on nice days only) Pump Gas. Goes Low to Mid 9,s well over 140 MPH at high elevation track on the Radials. FORD POWER !!! For Life !!!

me this guy Nothing to do with budget, to me it's brand loyalty. If you want my life story here it is, pretty sure i was conceived in a 1965 Mustang Fastback, brought up in a Ford Family, we like to drive our cars, not work on them all the time. To the day my Father got 4 Mustangs, 65, 66 GT, 67 Fastback, and a 2014. Sorry just my preference. It would be against my religion to put a GM engine in it. Everyone has there Brand Loyalty.

jeffrey jones Lololol coyote engines are overrated and overpriced af. You need a +2015 gen coyote motor to even be a good motor to build. Anything less than that is fuckin garbage. Built with weak ass parts. Lolol ur talking about a foxbody mustang? Lolol why not build that old 302 thats alerady in them than??? Ohh yeah.. because they’re fuckin junk. 500hp in that pos you’ll see a half the engine on the road and the other half still in the car. Lolol bbf are garbage motors too. Used for a anchor and thats about all they’re good for. Heavy ass shit boxes. Now you put a ls7 with some darton sleeves in that bitch you’ll have yourself a +2000hp capable block. Not that ford overpriced garbage. You wanna go fast? Buy a chevy engine. Build it for dirt cheap and you’ll be saving thousands. Building a coyote is expensive af. Compared to build a LS. You wanna be smart and smoke everything you see? Ls swap them. There’s a saying... Make mustangs great again... LS swap them. And thats still true to this day.

I don't get the quick flash of the light to start the race. Looks like it could cause some confusion. What's wrong with the old "point, point, arms up, arms down" method?

Because it's dark. Because "he moved his arm" "no he didn't" etc.
