I just hope people werent beating on these so hard... its gonna be the same as with the e30 that they become so rare you cant buy one unless you have a ton of money... few years ago e30s were still affordable, so kids bought it as their first car cause "drift car yo" then proceeded to crash them and abuse them and look now. You cant even get a 1.6 carbureted one under 8 grand, if you can get one cheap it is probably falling apart due to rust or is missing 70% of the parts. For comparison, at 15 grand you can get a lexus isf, most 6 cylinder e30s are sitting around 10-15 grand...

@@huntahcallaghan5115 yea mine cost 10.7k with 105k miles but did come with all the original factory stuff and extras, but i am going to lower mine and put a good set of wheels on it but i wotn beat it up rlly, just maybe a burn out or two

its not that hard of a fix. You take the plastic shield of and literally reset the dial with your finger. slapping that dash doesn't work that great. it ends up hurting the other gauges

what does a welded diff do? like what difference does it make to the car? How much does it cost like average?

​@@prodHazo a little late, but a welded diff would make the tires spin at the same speed making it easier to drift. stock 400s have an open diff which spin at different speeds depending on how much weight is placed on them, etc.. you can still drift with open diff just not as comfortably. also welding a diff is free if you know someone who can weld, otherwise like $50? idk.

@@prodHazo ​I do have an LS lol, isn't welded but I plan on it. compared to other things, it does seem fairly easy to weld a diff (if you know how to weld in the first place). I do not, gonna be outsourcing that work to a friend for my own sake. from watching videos, it doesn't seem like the diff interferes with either gas or power steering. ignoring the work it takes to weld it, getting it in and out of the car is fairly easy. you just need an hour or two, the car jacked, tools, and some sort of silicone material to re-seal the diff for after you take it apart. ima link the video that gave me an idea of how hard it'd be to get it done. in it, it shows the guy buying a diff from a junkyard then replacing it with the one in his car. in most cases it IS better to do that, just in case something goes wrong. on the other hand, it is more cost-effective to yank the existing diff in your car, weld it, then put it back together. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qKpmdNR9z76ohnk.htmlsi=Ld_LWa31QF0ySJjW

Andrew Sanders I loved it all you gotta do with these cars is weld the diff get some coilovers and your mint I prefer a diff steering wheel tho but yeah they are a lot of fun

Literally just chopped the exhaust welded the diff put some coilovers in and a steering wheel and she gets down lol

You can increase tire pressure weld your diff and get an exhaust and you’ll be mint lol

I mean mine was cut completely off pretty much open headers that wouldn’t cause that maybe a clogged cat but not a leak
