All of the first Modern Combo Trials for each character in Fighting Grounds are these specials, basic target combos, a DI punish and wall DI punish.

Un-fun fact about modern Manon: Did you know she cannot manually input Dégagé despite the fact there is no motion overlapping with it even on classic? And the only way to use the overhead version on modern is to waste meter? (I tried many times to tell capcom about this and they basically told me 'we dont take this sorta feedback k bye')

@@FranckyFox2468 You can do almost all the moves manually and land 50-60% per combo. At the same time, you always have access to instant DP and Supers, which simply turn off some of the opponent's options. This is a ridiculous price for cheats when your character is lost of a non-cancellable st.MK or a short cr.MP.

I think the reason that the manual input for Dégagé isn't available on Modern is because the motion is very similar to that of Manege Dore and they don't want them to overlap too much causing accidental misinputs. The same reason why Yoga Flame became a half-circle-back input instead of half-circle-forward after SF Alpha 2 so it wouldn't interfere with attempts to use Yoga Fire. Not that I agree with how it was handled for Manon though. Personally I think it would be better if Dégagé was at least aimable on Modern like how Rashid can choose the angle of his Whirlwind Shot on Modern by holding back or forward during startup. But for Manon it would be up (for overhead) or down (for low) instead of left or right.

All the years before this, “simplified” modes were ALWAYS prohibited at tournaments and online. Why isn't it like this now? What happened to FGC? One case with money and you can play with macros at a tournament? Is it honest when you sit in block and just do an instant LV3 super without releasing the block? At least have the conscience to add a filter in ranked matches so that I don’t play with cheaters.

It's allowed in SF6 but not most other fighting games because SF6 balances the shortcuts with a damage reduction and missing moves. The game is balanced around it.
