In this video we rate all of the Street Fighter 6 Character themes for the base roster! There's some bops, a couple bangers, and one or two fine tunes. This soundtrack is a little controversial right now, but overall there's some music I'm excited to fight to!

Zangiefs theme is such an interesting and entertaining theme to listen to. The sound team clearly had a vision with the sf6 music and its really nice to hear something fresh and different.

Chun's theme is just so out of place. Does not suit her "now matured" character thing they're going for.

Yeah I didn’t get that vibe either. I was really hoping for some music that reminded me of Hong Kong martial arts films or made utilized some Chinese instruments in a cooler way, but it deff left me disappointed

Yeah he was given maybe the most love out of like, any character. Love his personality and his theme only adds to it

Nice video :D I personally really love and appreciate variety through these themes and how they represent characters and their culture. Really recommend listening to stage themes as well, they are amazing! But also STRONGLY disagreed on Chun-Li's theme like watahel >:(

I had the same reaction to JPs theme. I actually wasn’t going to play the game until I saw some JP gameplay from Sonic Fox and heard the badass JP theme.

JP is incredibly cool. He is not my playstyle, but for people who like that style? He is freaking awesome

I did a tier list last night for fun before I found your video and its not too different from yours which is always cool to see. I liked Ken's and Marisa's more but Honda's and Juri's less. Otherwise yeah, great minds think alike! Good job on the video.

Im sorry but hard disagree on your take on Kens Theme. Although it was kinda marketed as the main theme for sf6, i do think that it is still an absolute banger and should be ranked accordingly. But good take on Zangief, his theme is straightup fire

I've done this with a friend when we had 14 themes out, and we would invite whoever was on the call and wanted to to listen and do it too. In the end taste varied a lot, but Jamie's top Tier and Chun-li lowtier is the concensus.

It’s funny how Music is such a divisive and varied topic and there’s so many different tastes, and yet Jamie’s theme is liked by almost everyone I’ve talked to haha

JP, Zangief and Manon are the best. Even if we can "hear" the personnality of each character such as Dee Jay, Juri, Jamie, Marisa, Lily or AKI.

Jamie theme is so good it deserves its own rank above bop. I'd personally rate Juri on high banger, but not quite bop level. JP and Zangief are very deserved bop level too. I wouldn't put Blanka on bop level myself but it's not bad either. Maybe it's because I like Guile himself, but I like his theme too. His original theme from earlier games is top tier but this is serviceable. Chun Li theme deserves to be alone in trash tier lol.

@@darthlugia Also since he is now released, I gotta say Rashid's theme is pretty dope too, probably bop level. His SF5 theme deserves its own rank like Jamie's tho, it was special.

Nice. I almost totally agree. I'd move Honda and DeeJay down a tier, and bring Ken up to banger status. Chun and Guile have clearly the two weakest themes, and it's not very close.

Yeah Guile and Chun just don’t have the same energy as the better ones, just unfortunate. But the ones that sound great really hit

Totally fair, everyone has way different music tastes. My brain has deff been infected by Jamie and Zangief’s, but plenty of people haven’t enjoyed the soundtrack at all

I think that Luke is definitely a "no". in general didn't like them too much a few exceptions, it's like they lack "power". songs are too soft. sounds like outdated-bad. the FX's or style, i don't know. I'd like a remix of SF2+SF3 songs.. that audio is delicious! it has to do with the software/machines/daw's used too..
