Welcome to Bangladesh ( my country) Chris and Brad, watching you from Canada. That food dish looks like pani-puri is actually called "Fuchka", more sounds like Fooch-kuh, little hollow things that made with freshly made hot chickpeas, potatoes, onions, broiled egg and different spices. You can taste both spicy and sour at the same time. Panipuri is made with Cold chickpeas, however Bangladeshi fuchka made with freshly made Hot chickpeas. Enjoy your stay. I see a lot KZfaqrs coming to Bangladesh and we like it! I think you are the first one showing the street foods of this area! There is another place now which is famous for street food, not very far from here. It is in PARIBAG area, ask any locals and they will show you. Go there in the evening and enjoy their foods. Hopefully you will like it.

The name of the dish you were asking for differs from place to place even though it's basically the same thing with slightly different toppings and sauces. In all over Bangladesh it's called Phuchka. In India and Pakistan it's called Panipuri, Gol Gappa, Batasha, fulki, fulka, Ghup chup etc. depending on the region.

Damn man, so this is the infamous video where you got bad food poisoning. That really sucks. I've gotten food poisoning on my travels before and it really sucked. It took awhile to recover. Other than that, it looked like you and Brad had a good time. Be really careful what you eat on the streets and make sure it's cooked well.

@18:27 The green dip sauce is Naga, as in made of Naga chilli aka Ghost Chilli (caution advised). The other sauce (Mishty) is a sweet and sour tamarind dip sauce. Mishty is how you say sweet in Bangla.

Hello buddy, Chittagong and Chottogram are same city . Previously it was called Chittagong.Now people call it Chottogram. It's more beautiful than Dhaka.I specially recommend you to visit hilly tracks like bandarban, Khagrachari and Cox's bazar,Sain martin island also❤
