hi i am a native of pondicherry. i appreciate what Perumal Mannangatti has done his job perfect. Actually Pondicherry doesnt have too spicy food, as it is available around tamil nadu. I once had biryani in Anjappar Chettinad restaurant and it was not spicy at all as it was in Karaikudi(place in tamil nadu).

Always follow the crown when eating street food in India or any other country. Reason: high turn over of food meaning it is made fresh and hot. Very less chances to get sick. Usually food in southern India is considered to be the spiciest western India has food with a little sweater note. Eastern states have more blander food but their deserts are the best in the country. North uses more of milk products in the dishes.

Lot of French people come to pondicherry so the street food vendors and restaurants understand their needs and prepares according to them. Less Spicy. Come , visit Hotel Vijayentra. It has got Anjappar Restaurant.

india uses animal parts that are tasty and liked by all. but in china they put everything, half cooked ,partly cooked,sometimes uncooked . but in india it is not like that. everything is completely 100% cooked. otherwise locals wont come to his shop and he will close his shop in 2 days.
