Why did you hardwire it, since it does not have parking mode?

Hi, thanks for the video. I brought mine to a local garage to have them install it. Is there a way to take the unit off the windshield? I thought it would've went into a mount/holder or something but it appears to be glued right to the windshield.

Why not go with the accessory fuse? and can you do this to use with parking mode?
