My best friend Nyjah was just a little tired from having to save me from 6 big strong bad boys. Jah and I were walking down the street holding hands and those super hunks came on me out of nowhere and demanded I give them my new watch that Jah bought for me. Well Jah being the gold medal skateboarder that he is jumped into action and took all those men at once. Every single one of them was on their knees while Jah inserted his dominance that's rightfully his. Jah carried me back to his place and held me for the rest of the night. We are just friends though.

That’s SO funny that you think of Nyjah as your best friend... because that’s exactly what he says about me (and I, him) ever since we met as very young boys. Not sure how you know this, but yes- we would fight the older boys TOGETHER... and let’s just say, if it were a contest, we never missed a final (just like Nyjah). He warned me once that other boys (like YOU!) might _claim_ to be his best friend... and now I know he was right (he always is!)... but more than that, I know that you and I are DIFFERENT. Not only because I am a better friend to Nyjah than you could ever HOPE to be... but also because Nyjah and I are NOT just best friends... we are lovers :)

Hilarious that everyone tries to say how "big" skateboarding is, and this world champion event has a ton of empty seats. Skateboarding was BIG in 2001 when Slam City Jam in Vancouver was completely sold out 2 days in a row.

the jack o grady stuff is silly. he does noseblunts, nosegrinds, half cab flips, tres, lipslides, heelflips and way more. For his skating, the spot selection is more important than trick selection. I think you're in the minority if you're not entertained by the things he ollies and 50s. I don't think i even want to see tech jack to be honest.

No way, Joa can find anything to rag on. As a side note: Beagle is obviously legendary but for some irrational reason he makes my skin crawl. I've only ever seen him enthusiastic and positive in really sweet ways, which I do appreciate, but something about him tickles my Spidey senses. I think he just reminds me of a couple guys from my high school who were perpetually on a razor's edge of stability. Never felt comfortable enough to let my guard down when they were around in case they'd snap and go full tilt on a moment's notice.

I was thinking about the men’s and women’s soty issue. But I think that unfortunately, the only way it would be fair is to have a men’s soty and a women’s soty. 1.) bc like you said the gap in men’s and women’s skating is quite large. Although the girls are totally progressing EXTREMELY fast! Bc of that, there wouldn’t be a female soty winner for a LONG time, if ever. (Not trying to hate I love watching the girls rip!) 2.) this could be a temporary thing until the gap closes much more. 3.) I love watching the progression of the girls skating and have a ton of respect for them. So I think it would be fun voting for the best female skater as well 🤷🏽‍♂️ Does anybody agree or disagree? Don’t wanna argue, I’m just curious if others thoughts about it.
