The guy offering birds was asking you if you were from Japan or China. A lot of times in the video people asked if you were Japanese, the word for japan in Arabic is "yaa-paa-n". have a nice day

Welcom in iraq , very defferent and interesting perspective and love the story telling . as iraqi photographer I generally away from crowded area as I love the background composition to be cleaner in my photos . beautiful photos .and best wishes from iraq.

One day i subscribed because i loved your photography with Sony 1iii, and since then i kept whaching your videos and enjoying them, and today here you are in my city Baghdad, wished i met u, but i hope you enjoyed your stay and i wish it was a unique experience. bro I would recommend you to checkout 2 main and holy cities Najaf and Karbala in Iraq. These both are holy sites to visit for Shia Muslims although person of any religion cast or region is welcomed there and people treat you nice. I love your videos as I also love cinematography those POV shots and fun stuff about cameras.

Despite their friendliness to you it is a grim and gritty scene that contrasts with your usual chill hop soundtrack. Your photos did a good job of capturing the humanity in the crowd though

Alot of them ask you in arabic are you “ siny” chinese or “ yapani” Japanese They were asking where are you from. But i think the lack of english makes it hard for them to communicate haha 😅 I enjoyed the video Welcome to iraq ❤

Did you need to hire a local guide (or bodyguard)? I keep reading about kidnapping incidents, and that made me hesitant to go.

Dont worry Baghdad is safe , much safer than many american cities

I think it's a good rule of thumb to always have a guide in foreign countries especially where culture is very different and you don't speak the language.

Really great and fun video when you come to Iraq next time visit Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan part it’s really fun there too and I know Japanese too plus could show you around for foods and anything else know lots of great places for taking street kind of vibe photos.

Ig it's because that place doesn't draw much attention to women. Some shops are full of women and you'd rarely find a man in them.
